Best Indian food I’ve ever had. The butter chicken is amazing. Raita is delicious. The owner is very accommodating and fun. When my husband calls in my order, she knows him by name & my knows my order. My husband has had the tandoori chicken and loves that dish with nan.

We are all so excited to finally have great Indian food in Forest Grove! Today my mom got the Chicken Curry, I got the Paneer Tikka Masala, and Aaron got the Saag Paneer. It was fresh, cooked to order, and delicious! They even have my favorite Maaza drinks, mango and lychee. The people are friendly and helpful at the Heart of India, and the atmosphere at Zesti Carts is like a magical oasis where we can escape the noise and traffic of Pacific Avenue. Our favorite dining area is in the greenhouse shared with The Houseplant Hub.

One of the best Indian food carts hands down! They made us samosa chat from scratch and served it hot and fresh. Super impressed and highly recommend!

Ordered lunch delivery, and they definitely were above and beyond anything we've had in quite a while!Got butter chicken, chicken Tikka masala, ghobi aloo, chaana masala, saag paneer, lamb curry, vegetable biryani, and nan. While all were excellent (fresh, generous portions, juicy components), the lamb curry and the saag paneer were by far the stars of the feast! The earthy flavors of the lamb was perfectly seasoned with the bright flavors of turmeric and coriander. And was very tender! The saag paneer had a wonderful deep flavor of dark greens and cardamom and was full of silky paneer that tasted and had a mouth feel of fresh made paneer! We look forward to trying them again and would absolutely recommend trying out the Heart of India!

The tandori chicken on the order was not included, no substitution. The chicken that was ordered was substituted for another chicken type/The nan was stale. Rice OK but not the dinner that was ordered. Too late to order a real dinner.Full price on credit card. Maybe refund from DoorDash, must wait on see if next order with DD has credit.

Heart of India, at the Zesti Food carts in Forest Grove makes some of the tastiest Indian food I've ever had. I've just finished my third meal there, and can safely say that this food rates up there with some of the most perfectly prepared (and delicious) Indian meals I have eaten - and over the course of 50 years, I've had Indian food in Kenya, Scotland, and all over California. At Heart of India, I've had the delicious Chicken tikka-masala both mild and medium, and it was incredible every time, with perfectly cooked pieces of chicken accentuated by the creamy, tomatoey, and sublimely flavored sauce. You'll probably want to get some naan or kulcha to soak up the abundant sauce. If you are unsure of your "heat" tolerance, you will probably want to start off mild, and work your way up when you return! Many of the main dishes come with a side of rice. The tikka-masala does.I've also had their samosas on each visit, and they never disappoint, with a crisp, but not oily exterior, encasing a perfectly cooked interior of spiced potatoes (etc.) The samosas are accompanied by little containers of green and red chutney but stand pretty well on their own. This food is cooked to order, and is quality food, not fast food. Your order might take ten minutes to cook (maybe even longer). But it is well worth the wait to have one of the best Indian meals around. And you can order online, as well.

Our family loves Zesti carts, everyone walks away happy. As most of them aren't that into curry I am so happy to have Taste of India as an options. I have been several times and it is A) always amazing B) I always have leftovers for lunch. Their naan is homemade, their curries are just perfect and medium still packs a little lunch. The staff (maybe owners) are very friendly and kind too
