McMenamins Ironwork Grill

This is a decent option for food if you're staying at the hotel - has decent cocktail options and has some good food options. That said it wasn't anything amazing - for how eclectic and fun the hotel is - the food does not match that. I can't say I'd ever seek it out if I wasn't staying here.

Service was excellent though - engaging, fast, and very attentive.

As a gluten free eater, I would not go back.

As someone that wants a nice place to sit and think about life, I would.

Was$20 just for the burger because I couldn't have the fries. They subbed a salad and upcharged me $2 for it. Then charged $2 for the bun, which is understandable. They forgot to cook my wife's burger correctly and then we had to wait to redo it.

They STILL charged me for it.

Forgot our drinks.

Won't be going back for the food.

Fun place to explore though. There are secrets on the top floor!

I mean this McMenamins is different. Love the building and yard and the brew house thing. But the restaurant is blan. The server was a bit off and maybe a bit too personal and in our bubble. Food was okay. Nothing amazing.

I prefer some of the other locations tho.

The food is good, the quirky atmosphere is fun, the service is good. I love watching movies here and hanging out with my family. It is not a perfect 5 but it has a lot of great things.

Busy tonight, so had a wait. NP, gave us a chance to do some exploring, getting some passport stamps, and then they text when table ready, so hassle free. Very friendly helpful staff. Food always great.

Parking: They do have their own free parking lot, but always seems full.

There was no one there for breakfast on a Saturday morning so we should’ve known. We just wanted a simple quick breakfast but the service was very slow. Easy food was below average, the waitress never checked on us and it was way overpriced. We won’t be back.
