Staff is friendly. Foid is always good with generous portions. I love korean chicken, kailua pork, furikake fries and spicy poke varieties. I frequently have it delivered to work and it holds up well.

I order garlic furikake fries, what I received was a platter with 25% cooked, edible fries, and 75% uncooked fries that tasted like windex and bleach. Kama’aina should consider changing their name to hit-or-miss’aina. The most horrid experience I have had ever since I ate at Long John Silvers.

Tastes like Hawaii local fair and we love it. I'm sad when they run out of lau lau's. Great service, atmosphere is really nice. Good music, clean, not overly noisy, they seem to get more call out orders then people in the restraunt. I suggest going in. They had shaved ice too! Also a bar for drinks. I hope it starts to get busy inside because they are a real jewel in Forest Grove. Glad to have them here! I hope they will start doing some events soon.

What a gem we have found! Theres free parking across the street. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. The loco moco was the best loco moco i ever had, very moiste and smokey. The kalbi was very good seasoned. The korean fried chicken has really good flavor but a little bit dry. The salmon katsu was not bad but not impressive. Service was a little slow due to she was the only waiter but she was very friendly attentive. Overall i would 100% come back and recommend this place to others

Food was fire! 12/10🤙

But the service was trash. From the moment I walked in the lady (her names Vanessa) at the front gave me stink eye for saying I was placing a takeout order. Then I was asking what’s the most popular dish and she looked all pissed that I was asking questions. She said the Korean fried chicken (she was right. It’s perfect). I tipped 15% cuz I don’t want her spitting in my food. She brought me my food and just dropped it on the counter, no care or nothing. Didn’t say enjoy your meal or acknowledge me saying thank you. If you’re a manager reading this, let Vanessa know she gotta learn how to have more aloha spirit.

Food was mayjahhh tho!

An absolute gem of a place that was a last minute find. Authentic Hawaiian food with perfect seasoning. Not too salty, flavorful, and we can’t wait to visit again soon.

The ownership doesn't seem that interested in running a restaurant. It's like the cooks and customers are still there, but no one else is! The phone number doesn't even work! It used to be a real restaurant before COVID. Really!

Went on a whim but turned out to be a gem! I had a combo plate with shoyu chicken and Kahlua pork, rice, greens, garlic edamame. Presentation was great. Large meat portions. Greens were fresh and eye appealing. All was very tasty. I especially enjoyed the shoyu chicken. The garlic edamame was also very good and had a nice garlicky flavor. Will be coming back!

After a long haul from the coast, Kama'aina was exactly what we needed! The katsu hit the spot, and my kid devoured the generous keiki plate of kalua pork. Pro tip: bring cash and snag a sweet 3.5% discount!
