The best everything and the best coffee and they have try tip and prime rib steak and eggs for less than 20 dollars for a meal they treat you like family
Great biscuits and gravy
I had breakfast there.
Fantastic all around - the gravy is absurdly good, chicken fried steak is perfect, and the hotcake is perfectly cooked and soaks up syrup. Lovely service, too! ❤️
This is my second time here. I really like their Cottage Potatoes, they're simple and very soft. I got a veggie omelette with Swiss cheese. It was delicious, they sautéed the veggies before putting them into the omelette and all was seasoned perfectly. The service was friendly and fast. I will definitely be back.
Extremely good breakfast. Small, cool little diner. Very friendly staff
Food and atmosphere great!
However, I have never in my 56 yrs been told to leave. Three of us spent about 90 min at the table. Finishing my coffee when we were approached and told to leave for we were affecting revenue. Not told nicely either. Two. Yes two people waited to be seated. Will not return.

This place is crowded for all American breakfast indeed. We ordered a Tuna melt sandwich which comes with potato salad and the fried chicken steak with 2 eggs which both came quick and delicious for typically American breakfast. Given the portion of the food, it is well priced and the service is excellent and friendly. The atmosphere might be a bit old but ok for typically dining. We need a breakfast in Forest Grove, try this place.

Wow great omelette and my husband's tuna melt on sour dough with clam chowder was delish.

Stopped in for breakfast and asked if brewed ice was fresh. Our server asked the owner and/or manager who siad outloud for everyone to hear that it was made day before ans she would not make it for anyone who wanted it fresh.
We thought this was very rude.
We stayed for breakfast, food was good, our server was great but will not return to this establishment in the future.
Again my 1 star rating is because of the owner/manager.
