Service was slow, not because of the one employee working on a Saturday morning. She was doing great despite no help. Waited for one overpriced drink and a small piece of food for 20 minutes.

Went 2 days in a row. First day asked for Americano at a drinkable temp. Barista wanted me to list a temperature that would be acceptable. Second day listed a temp for the ameicano, and was told they don't know what temp they just add ice, and got an ice cold americano. Sent it back to be warmed. Didn't get any forks for eggs, it was slow, and the second americano they sent out was not much warmer. All I wanted was not scalding hot. Baristas were not particularly friendly or anything. I go to Starbucks all over the PNW and this one was irritating enough to warrant mentioning.

The girls working there have no idea what is going on. They made up a blended drink as a sample “the cookie dough frappe” and when actually ordering it they had no clue what I was even talking about. It’s not on the menu nor do they even know how it was made. Don’t advertise something you don’t sell.
Fast friendly lots of seating. Parking could be better but great starbucks.

The new people working here seem to not entirely know how to correctly make some of the drinks. I order extra caramel drizzle usually which makes me pay an extra dollar but instead they just put a pump of dark caramel on the top because they are too lazy to drizzle the actual caramel I asked for on top. They also have an extremely long wait time when making one drink at a time, plus they never give me or offer me my receipt. They automatically toss it which I find rude because sometimes they tend to overcharge for things that I shouldn't be charged on.

Thus Starbucks is located inside a Safeway, so it is not as nice as the standalone apps.

Today was the final straw. Safeway Forest Grove has been a frustrating place to shop for many years. Out of ad items, no checkers and bad self-serve scanners using every excuse under the sun. I have seen improvements in the last 6 months. Today I went in to buy a rib roast that was featured in their ad. It was about 11:50am. There was only one in the case that was very fatty. I asked the employee working the service counter if I could get a rib roast around 14lbs and not as fatty as the one currently in the case. Then I said 10 to 14lbs would work. She spoke to the meat department manager. I have never been treated by any employee as she (the meat department manager) treated me. As soon as the employee explained what my request was, she started ranting and raving about how she did not have time to cater to my request. It would mean she would have to cut a bunch of roasts to satisfy me. When I spoke up she informed me that I should try doing her job. Well when I told her I had done her job and that I was a Safeway store manager for 17 years. She than told me I should understand her frustration. I will never understand or except a person that does not respect a customer. Her job is directly tied to customer service. Her ego is bigger than her abilities. I truly hope more people stop shopping at Forest Grove Safeway meat department. This person gets a bonus based on her sales and profits. She does not deserve her job if she is treating customers in this manner. I left without making a purchase. Fred Meyers satisfied all my needs for the holiday. Yes, I spent just over $200.
Second Time, it's out of Pumpkin Spice Frappe and Bacon Cheese Sandwiches!
I've haven't been to Starbucks in years, but I was given a $25 gift card. I take my coffee black and I realize why Starbucks has so many fancy coffee drinks. Had to be right up there with some of the worst tasting coffee I've ever had.The young people working the window were very friendly though.
Its amazing
Love the Coffee
