Ghost Hole Public House

This is the place to go. The food is awesome and the people are just very down home people. The beer is ice cold and the music is always good. I worked here back in 2006 -2007. and I absolutely loved loved my job. All I know is that there is ALWAYS something fun happening here and you just can't find good food, good atmosphere And just plain good ol fun anywhere else.

Didn't get a chance to sample any of their food. Great atmosphere and they have a stage in the back patio for concerts in the summer time. Cocktails, food, full lottery and a couple t vs.

This is a great place to stop to get a bite to eat. The macaroni and cheese is some of the best I've ever had and the meatball sandwich has to be in the top five.

Very nice bar in Garibaldi worth a stop. The food was good & same with thd drinks. Has a cool outdoor seating area.

I have only tried the jalapeno poppers, and they were quite good, I am not sure if they came from a frozen box, but if so, it is from a high-quality source, and if they are homemade, that would be believable. I just wouldn't expect that from a bar.
Everything there is fairly expensive but not astronomically pricey. I had a handful of shots over the evening, and the poppers and spent just under fifty before tip.
But the big selling point is that the service is excellent and the atmosphere is somehow even better! The bartenders are festive (this is the Halloween season, and they dressed in a subdued spookiness-not costumes, but low-key goth for the most part) and the decorations are outstanding. They went all-out for Halloween, and have a costume contest coming up ON Halloween Night! Very cool!
One of the bartenders did the decorations inside and on their expansive back patio, a great place to hang.
Their Friday and Saturday karaoke is excellent as well; the DJ, Ann, always puts the newcomers up next or very soon, to make sure they have a chance to get in at least one song. I dig that a lot. She has a wide range of music available, and the whole bar cheers and claps for each performance, whether they are really good, like many were, or fairly flat, like my singing is. It makes it so easy to get up and belt out a tune, knowing that there's only honest encouragement, and not judgement to be found.
I recommend it highly!

Sad note:
Due to some sort of state or federal regulations, they were not able to let me share the gelatos that I brought for the occasion; I'm from a small town where such things didn't exist-gelato, or regulations, and it has a more potluck mentality, and it was kind of disappointing to not be able to share. I know there's rules, but the worst part is that there's no dessert selection on their menu, so there is nothing to have in its places. C'est la vie, I suppose, but minus a star from the food for no dessert menu.

We come in here 4 or 5 times a year. Solid service, friendly atmosphere including the regulars, drinks are legit including the nightly specials. There's a reason this place always does a decent evening business, they do a good job as a local bar. So thankful they are here.

Friday night, amazing pineapple/jalapeño margaritas, juicy bacon cheeseburger, and OMG the BEST MACARONI SALAD I have ever had!

Karaoke was starting and as much as I didn’t want to stay for that, I didn’t stand to sing but you know you gotta sing along when it’s music from your 70s high school stoner days, lol…

MUST return, and definitely will next time I need a drive down the beautiful Oregon coast.

An escape from the family for the weekend and nearly everything closed by the time we were checked in and ready to go for dinner and a drink - we were met by the staff with smiles, waves, and warmest of welcomes! The food was good and the drinks were excellent. It was an awesome little place to stop and hang out. The deck out back was also nice. Jermy the bartender was awesome! 5 stars all the way around.

Parking: Easy to park. Asphalt was nice for motorcycles aswell.

Kid-friendliness: This is a bar and lounge probably not the best place to take you kids to hang out. But it would be a good place to grab some food to go for the kiddos if your kids are hungry.

We ordered fish and chips and I had one piece that was raw in the middle. They just made like a sour face when I showed them. The fish is also below par for a coastal restaurant. The service was not real friendly unless you were a local. I would avoid this place.

We landed at this great little pub by accident. The food was great. The people were nice. The bartender engaged in conversation, and so did the rest of the staff.We enjoyed the meal and would definitely go back here again.

I agree with folks complaining about the service, but you get what you pay for and you are paying for a stiff drink and stiff service ??
Don’t freak out but we watched a spider weave the entirety of its web during our two drinks in the garden at sunset. We aren’t lil beeeetiches so we didn’t mind the spiders. Enjoy the short time lapse vid
