We ordered cheesecake to go for our anniversary dessert...Elegant, outstanding flavor. The mini cheesecake exceeded our expectations in appearance and taste!! Gourmet dessert selection. Wow.

Breakfast was delicious, complete with a tremendously generous portion of fresh fruit--Outstanding display! Simply abundant atmosphere with spectacular view of the bay. We could even see freshly fallen snow on the mountains. Michelle was personable and attentive.

it would've gotten an overall three star rating from me if it hadn't been to the fact that they charge so much for so long.

We ordered halibut and steamer clams for our main menu and I also had the appetizer pan fried oysters

Fried oysters were OK with the chef did nothing for the breading whatsoever it was just plain old Planko.

The halibut which I asked to be grilled, was grilled. And was drier than shoe leather.

The wife got steamer clams but they did nothing for the broth whatsoever it was just like it was boil it and water.

The baked potato that I received was 100% microwaved they didn't even bother to try to crisp up the outside.

A salad for dinner was OK.

And the service was prompt and professional.

Just not worth the money.

Very nice traditional setting overlooking the water. There is not a bad seat in the place with plenty of tables by the window.
The food was extremely fresh and tasty. The halibut we had tasted like they had just brought it in off the dock.
Can't say enough about the exceptional service and speed. Outstanding wait staff!

I've had better fish and chips from a food truck. The salad (no cole slaw in menu) was good.

Salmon salad_large portion taste excellent.
Fried oyster plate. 6 oysters taste just ok. Served with chowder and fries. Chowder just ok fries limp and greasy. Price pretty high for what we got. View outstanding.

I first visited Pirate’s Cove back in 2011–2012 and still dream about their coconut French toast — easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. So on a recent trip I was excited to come back.

Heads up: their hours online don’t always match what’s posted on the building, and it seems they open when they’re ready. We were lucky they opened at 12, but they weren’t serving breakfast anymore (sadly, no coconut French toast this time).

That said, the food we did get was delicious. The house clam chowder was light, not overly thick, with good potato and clam chunks — definitely house-made. I ordered the salmon club and it was outstanding: smoky bacon, fresh salmon, tangy tartar sauce with a hint of BBQ, and all layered into a triple-stacked club sandwich. A little messy, but absolutely worth it.

Overall, I was disappointed not to find breakfast, but the seafood dishes made up for it. If you’re coming, don’t count on breakfast hours — but do try the salmon club or chowder.

You are paying for a view and not the food! Wilted old salad, frozen halibut and old soggy fries. Tables are clean but don't look around too hard. Prices are steep for just a view.

Food and view was excellent.

What a beautiful spot to get dinner, lunch or desert. It's the closest to fine dining you will get in Garibaldi!
