We had a wonderful time at Kramer Vineyards staying over in our RV as part of the Harvest Host program. The location is sublime, rolling hills planted with grapes interspersed with forest. The spot for larger RVs is very private as it’s nestled between the vines. We had an excellent bottle of sparkling rose in beautiful glasses and took one bottle of Pinot Blanc to go.
We were extremely pleased with the setting and the taste of wines. In addition, the cheese platter was delicious and generous! Can't compare it to other vineyards but Kramer was definitely friendly, and did not over-charge for average wines.
Went for a wine tasting and received virtually no information, little service, and the wines themselves weren’t that great either. If perhaps this had beautiful atmosphere and great views, maybe it would make sense but it did not.
Left to check out Elk Cove (since it was nearby) and got the experience we expected here… night and day difference.
