Big Daddy’s at The Village Inn offers real food at real prices with a good local atmosphere. The food is fantastic, with the absolute BEST food in southern Douglas County. The Friday night Prime Rib dinner is excellent, with preferred cuts from rare to well done. The pastrami is hands down the best pastrami in all of Oregon. Burgers come with perfectly crispy fries, and the menu can be made vegetarian within reason. The owners are always talking and making customers feel at home, with great conversation and big plans for this small town. The staff and owners are so pleasant, and the restaurant has a lot of historical character while being very clean. Homemade from scratch food, cold beers, and prices worth it all. Absolutely worth swinging in off I-5.
