Amazing!!! It says something if you remember a restaurant by name 2 years after your initial visit. A Gold Beach trip is not complete until you've been to Anna's. If you are a foodie and/or wine drinker you will be in heaven.

This is a true gem of a dining experience. With only room for 14 or so guests reservations are a must but you will be handsomely rewarded for your meager effort. The menu is small but hits everything one could want, the chef and assistant are salty (in the best way) so don't show up expecting a white glove type of meal (instead, enjoy the honesty of your hosts and take in the totality of the experience), the food is cooked perfectly and to the amount of doneness required of the dish so don't ask for well-done because that is wrong, the wine offerings are on point, the house cured meats and cheeses are superb, the handcrafted ice cream wonderful. If you love great food, eat at Anna's by the sea

Delicious sophisticated food, prepared by owner/chef Peter in his open kitchen. I called ahead, and he happily adjusted to accommodate my dietary needs. The pea pod salad was fresh from the garden, and we shared the killer tomato soup. Entrees were duck breast and rock fish accompanied by roasted mashed potatoes and beets with a hint of clove. Wines by the glass suited each course, even the salad. For dessert we shared the homemade honey grand marnier ice cream. Thanks Peter for a lovely evening. Small intimate dining. Make a reservation.

This is a wonderful little spot! We were lucky to get a seat at the bar as we arrived without reservations. We saw a few other groups get turned away as it is a small space. Peter and his wife make you feel as though you are visiting a friend for dinner. And that friend is an amazing chef cooking just for you! We enjoyed our meal at a slow relaxed pace. To start we had the charcuterie plate, fresh bread, and tomato soup, all very good. I had the ribeye steak with a potato pancake and beets - the best beets I've ever had. My husband had veal. Both of us enjoyed our meals. We hope to be back when in the area again.

Best steak we've ever had. It's a lovely small place perfect for a special night out. Make a reservation and enjoy the lovely people, quiet space and decadent food.

DELICOUS!! Got the veal it was very good and super juicy. Also the first time anywhere I’ve ever gotten beets and liked them. I was most impressed by the cheeses I absolutely LOVED it. And the chef was really handsome

One of the most amazing meals I have had in the entirety of my life! I would drink the truffle butter that was on my ribeye, and walk a mile through broken glass for more of that camembert!

If you are planning a trip to Gold Beach or just passing through (like we were) be sure to make a reservation to Anna's for dinner. This place is a small, yet charming, restaurant run by Peter and his wife. They will make you feel at home immediately upon sitting down. Peter will help you select wines or liquors that pair well with each dish, which we loved. We ordered the cheese charcuterie which included three cheeses (all made by Peter), nuts and dried apricot, and bread. Lovely appetizer. Then we ordered the Alaskan scallops that were on a bed of Israeli pearl couscous. We are from Alaska so we tend to be picky with our seafood. Well these scallops did not disappoint. The scallops were perfectly cooked, moist, and lightly salted. My partner ordered the ribeye and it was seasoned wonderfully and paired with sautéed beets and these delicious crispy mashed potatoes. Finally, we finished our night at Anna's with some unique top-shelf liquors (Calvados and Cognac) and Peter's homemade ice cream which was truly delightful! We loved how every dish was made with thought and care. This was our first time visiting Anna's and we will most definitely be back!

This place is amazing. Had the duck breast, which is always a tricky dish to pull off but they did a fabulous job. Im not the biggest fan of beets, but the beets and clove side was a perfect compliment to the duck.

Amazing. One of the best meals and experiences we've ever had. Wine was delicious and food was unbelievably good. Duck and Lam dishes were fantastic. Cheese plate was also very good. The Chef here is hands down one of the best out there. Make sure you make reservations :)

The duo of chef and waitress leave all guest with the feeling that they are in the family home of these two characters. The food is slow due to love and delicious. The soup is warm and not vegetarian due to chicken. The main courses can be paired with many of the extensive wines. The duck and scallops are delicious. Be careful of the peppercorn in the scallop pasta because accidental swallowing too much pepper corn can leave a burning taste in your mouth. But nothing the scallops cannot help with. The lamb is to die for! It has a mint marinade that cannot be beat. Everyone leaves with a smile and a wave to the chef, waitress and even the other guests.

Anna's was a surprise find. Reviews mentioned duck and lamb. We had to go.We chose to share the rack of lamb, tomato soup and cheese appetizer.Incredible. The lamb was amazing. It fell off the bone. Tomato soup was perfect on a rainy night. The slight smoky flavor was warming. Peter makes the cheeses as well as being chef. It was an experience. If you like Michelin restaurants and quality Anna's has it.

We try to visit this part of the coast at least once a year and Annas is a must when we come. This time we LOVED the home made cheese plate, garden fresh salad, and fresh from the sea scallops lightly seasoned over pearl pasta. Peter is very engaging, although he can be a little cantankerous when he wants to be. He works the kitchen, set up right beside most tables, and always finds time to visit with his guests. He takes obvious pleasure when you enjoy your meal. He also enjoys sharing his wine knowledge. Anna's is a can't miss. Be careful, the place is small and he does run out of popular choices many nights.
