Cool little dive bar. HORRIBLE service. Bar tender only seemed to like the locals. She was incredibly rude. Don't recommend if you're not a local.

Nice local dive bar with cold beer and chilled glasses. Good- old -boy atmosphere with sports games playing on nicely placed t.v.s.Mary is a good bar tender who runs the place with an iron fist. The food is frozen cafeteria bar munchies and is better than nothing. Every restaurant in town serves frozen food of some sort.Friendly service and a pleasant place to drink a beer.Other bars in this town can be clicky and the bartenders annoying but the Star doesn't have that drama. So far so good

Very fun place to go for drink or video poker. Seemed two nights in a row going there was modestly busy and the crowd wwas definitely having a good time. Music was great loud and loud. Friendly people thru out. Plenty of seating. Pool tables. Everything you want in a small town. Parking is limited but the street parking is always open. Go have a good time all are welcome.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and smooth wide open for all to enjoy.

Absolutely horrible bar I've seen better drinking establishments in the ghettos of the city, you would expect more for a place on the coast next to the ocean but not in Gold Beach. This place really and I mean really sucks bad do yourself a favor and go to a different coastal town do not stop at this so-called bar.

Wish I had a better experience to talk about, but I didn't even make it in the front door. Show up on a Sunday night at 11 pm, and all listings says the place is open till 12. I'm greeted by the bartender and two guys saying they're closed, followed by one guy saying they're "high classed" and we needed to leave.Edit: been on vacation and lost track of the days, it was Sunday night, but regardless, business hours are the same.I'd like to contact you with the info you requested, but I dont see how.Sunday July 23rd, 2023

This place is pure classic old time Oregon. Only had a pint of Arch Rock beer, so can't say anything about the food, but the menu looked like just pre-packaged bar food....fried stuff, etc.The only thing (thankfully) missing was the cigarette smoke! I truly expected loggers shuffling in from the woods with their hickory shirts, suspenders and stagged off pants!

Fun times good muxmsic good company
This is a classic small town dive bar with video gambling! My drink was strong and the service quick. Haven't had any food so can't speak on that!
