Wong's Cafe Reviews
Used to Midwestern Chinese fastfood...this was a lot different and a lot better. Ordered twice while in town for the week. I did want to warn people don't waste your money on the fried rice....it seems to just be steamed rice with a little pork on top
Real. Fresh. Delicious.
Visiting Gold Beach, I really wanted Chinese food, so I ordered from Wong’s because it was closest to my hotel. I ordered 1 chow mein with mushrooms for $13, it was ready in about 15 minutes and though the place had a creepy atmosphere because it was tucked down a dark eery street and I came late, Wong was a very sweet man he added extra rice in my meal, mini packet of fried noodles, a mini bag with a fortune cookie, extra soy sauce, utensils, napkins, an extra plate, and even...read full review

Wong's Cafe is a beloved spot that has been serving Cantonese-style Chinese food for 31 years. The food is unpretentious, flavorful, and reminiscent of old-school eateries. The lo mein is a particular favorite among regulars, and the menu offers a wide range of options, including delicious pork egg rolls. The atmosphere is nostalgic and cozy, with a sepia-toned ambiance. Although the restaurant now only offers take-out orders, the friendly staff ensures a welcoming experience. Customers can enjoy a restaurant that is oblivious to the outside world, with prices that have not changed in decades. The Egg flower soup, shrimp, and sweet/sour chicken are highly recommended, and the service is lovely, with the owner sometimes providing complimentary tea. The portions are generous, and the senior meals are very reasonably priced at $10 or less.
