Charlie's Mountain View

Absolutely the worst no service I’ve ever experienced. Wanted to stop in for lunch and a cold beverage after our day skiing. Bartender stood behind the bar watching the tv and not once did he ask what we would like to order, we finally walked up to the the bar and order our beverages thinking that would get him started. He walked over to tend to the wood stove, which was right next to our table. He didn’t even look at us or ask what we would like to order. After finishing our beverage, we got up and left without ordering anything else. It definitely is not the same Charlie’s I remember. I will never stop in again. We do not recommend this establishment. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Visiting Mt. Hood for a week with my friends and we were very impressed with the food, especially the elk burgers. Service was friendly and quick and the vibe of the place seemed chill!

The burger was pretty much raw granted I don’t mind a mr burger but would have preferred it to not moo when I took a bite. Great servers and staff but clientele is for sure unwelcoming. I would love to support local but the last 2 times I have been here in the last 3 months food has been subpar and questionable

I couldn’t find the right tag for my review - my issue wasn’t that service was slow (I get it when that happens sometimes if an establishment is busy and/or short-staffed). My issue is the staff completely ignoring my party. My husband and I went there today and end up leaving without food, after a long and hot hike near Trillium Lake, because our presence wasn’t even acknowledged. We sat in the patio area and ended up switching tables to find a calmer space for our dog, as there were several other parties with dogs there. Two groups that arrived after us were waited on before us, and we chalked that up to the staff perhaps not realizing we had switched tables. But they had to walk past us several times to get in and out of the kitchen (we never got a “hello” or “be right with you,” in fact I never even got any eye contact). A decent amount of time passed and then two more new groups came in, and they were waited on almost immediately. At that point, tummies growling, we left. My husband mentioned that we were overlooked and one of the staff laughed and dismissed him. Someone else inside the bar claimed that they didn’t work there after my husband said something, rather than apologizing. Will never patronize this place again.

We're pretty sure we got food poisoning from the hamburgers we had here on 8/17. We both had GI problems and vomiting within a few hours of eating dinner that night.

Stopped to use the pody. The only none alcoholic drinks they offered was redbull. Bunch of girls showed up I was very uncomfortable. They had half the place locked up. Got out of there as fast as I could.
I did not say I was intimidated by them. I said I was uncomfortable And they aproached where I was sitting after I sat there. and every girl was clearly barely old enough or not to be there.

Delicious food! Everyone at our table had something different and everything was delicious!

I haven't been in Charlie's for years probably since before Charlie died. So happy we decided to stop today after our hike, the food was superb the surface excellent can't say enough about this establishment

Fun little place. Stopped in at 1130pm for food. Ordered fish n chips. Was offered a water while I waited, which was kind, then took the chips to go. They were tasty!

The best burger I ever had in May was the Ridge Runner I went back today to get another one and they had taken it off the menu. I was very disappointed

My family was passing through Mt. Hood, and we decided to stop here for a quick bite to eat. Our waiter was nice and courteous, great service from him. However, after we’d received our food, one of the workers was extremely rude to my family. Really brought down the mood of our trip. I’ll be packing food before passing through here again.
