The Taco Shoppe

Food was just ok. Trying for closer to New Mexican, but don't get there. Felt like frozen pre-cooked meals. Sadly, would not go back.

This place sucked. We spent $55.00 there for 2 of us. We should have left right at the point where we were ordering because the cashier was so rude , confused and hostile but we stayed because my son is vegan and they had vegan options. However when his food came out there was cheese in it, he showed the lady and she went back and ask the cook and he said he put no cheese in it but it was very clear there was cheese. (This might not be a big deal to someone else but if you are vegan it is) they did not offer to replace it so we waisted a lot of money for crappy food and service because he could not eat it.

Excellent food and menu, best Margaritas, cozy atmosphere also providing a full Espresso menu! The people and community are wonderful. You can't go wrong here.

Wife and I had bad stomach issues and had to use the restroom a few minutes after eating and again within 20 minutes.

Took a chance and ended up with a pretty awesome meal here. Nothing fancy; the mahi-mahi special was two tacos, refried beans and rice , but it was fresh, nicely cooked and hit the spot. Beer selection is pretty minimal and ambiance inside (or out) is nothing to write home about, and it’s not as cheap as you might expect, but there are worse places in Govvy for a good basic meal.

Food had some good quality but the flavour was pretty bland. I’ve been to worse places.

Not only is the food bland (the chicken literally tasted like it was boiled and had zero flavor, no salt or anything) but our server was rude and non existent. I normally pay the bill and leave a huge tip as I'm in the industry, but I was so unhappy with the food and service, I left it to my husband to pay and tip. Sadly, he isn't as generous as me but did leave something. There are many other places in Govy Camp to eat. Choose elsewhere.
Taco Bell tastes 1000% better than this white people, tasteless mexican food.

Open signs on 11:12 stood inside in front of the cashier for 5 min then was told we needed to wait it would be just a minute. No other customers in the building.

Not sure what it is with the reviews here. The Taco Shoppe has always been quick, quality tacos at really good prices. Come by for lunch or a good cheap drink!
