She ( the owner said if we don't say something nice , please say nothing at all.) But I can't keep it to myself. We had a party of ten ($500.00) to celebrate 3 different Birthdays. One of our guest was a gentleman who had a stroke, and could have used the ramp but we were told at 5:50pm to go to f/door at 6pm which had steps. We all got in, to a appetizer of hard bread with turkey salad on it, topped with a small piece of pineapple. The theme was rock and roll, the guys who were the actors were funny at times. Thay were probably the best part of the evening. The main course was a small portion of pot roast, carrots (that you could not chew) and mashed potatoes w/gravy. The meal was bad 👎. The dessert was dried chocolate cake. The proprietor was not very friendly and seemed frustrated when spoken to. All and all, the evening was great ,but only because of the company I keep. My friends made the night wonderful. Would not recommend to any one.

This is a one of a kind business, so difficult to compare to others. The big difference is that there is no menu, and customers call ahead to place orders for things they like, or the specials that Cynthia offers, for every day meals or holidays. Cynthia is also very accommodating to host private groups, such as ladies lunch or family celebrations.

Vegetarian options: Customers can specify what they like, which allows for many options.

Parking: Parking behind the building is limited, but free street parking is available.

Our company Christmas party was held at Cynthia’s Murder Mystery themed event on pirate night. I would describe it as an interactive play. The staff were all kind, while putting on a show for 1.5 hours entertaining and interacting with our group, as pirates. The menu was 5 courses. The main course of pot roast, mashed potatoes with gravy, and caramelized carrots were amazing. Same with the dessert, some sort of yummy dense chocolate cake. The experience itself is alcohol free, and kid and family friendly. It’s a cute and wholesome event. The staff was passionate and kept the same energy from start to finish.

Attended a murder mystery dinner here and honestly it was awful. An absolute waste of money. The murder mystery isn’t very interactive at all. The acting is middle school play mediocre at best. And the food was horrid. You pay 45 $ for mostly inedible food. A soup that tasted like what you’d expect dog food to taste like. A salad with no dressing options . A dryer than the Sahara desert brownie. A small portion of pot roast and a scoop of box made mash potatoes and what I can only assume is canned gravy. It tasted like hospital food. Not worth going back in my opinion. I have bought homemade pretzels from Cynthia before and those were great .

Murder mystery night is super fun. Love the cast members and the food was really tasty. We would come back on a different theme night.

Awesome time! The skits were funny - a little corny, but fun to watch and I love that the diners interacted with the actors to make the whole experience more interesting. I did not expect the murder at the end - I know it says Murder Mystery Theater, but the way the performance was going I did not know that there was going to be a murder. Solving the murder was very easy and short, but the whole performance was about an hour plus. Great time for a group who has the guts to speak up and join in the act!! The food was also very good. There were around four or five courses - hors d'oeuvres to dessert.

Picked up a delicious dinner from Cynthia's Home Sweet Home. We're a fan of her meatloaf and gravy and so much more, even her broccoli and cauliflower had a lot of flavor. She gives good portion sizes and homecooked care with each meal. Keep her in mind if you're not in the mood to cook, it was a really nice treat.
