Food studio, Elevated Cocktails and Cuisine

We're not locals and are so pleased with our dinner at Food Studio. Friendly staff, great cocktails, delicious entrees. Presume the hummingbird cake we got to go, will live up to it's description. We will definitely be back when we return to Grants Pass.

Elevated does not to begin to describe the old fashioned i just had. It was exquisite. Jeff is a true master of his craft.

Treat yourself and enjoy an evening out at Food Studio! Everything I've tried here is great! The fried prawns are my favorite appetizer, the chicken corn chowder soup is the best I've ever had. During the cold months they serve a hot buttered rum that is very popular. The service is excellent! They have live music in the evenings on the baby grand. Great spot for me and the hubs when we want a date night!

I'm so tired of eating out and being served mediocre food. THIS is NOT mediocre food. My meal was delicious.

I usually order eggplant hummus, which is amazing... I actually ordered an entree this time - it was a creamy mushroom pasta (I subbed cappelini for fettuccine), and added steak (medium) on top. Ah-may-zing 💥

My hubby's steak Diane was fantastic as well.

Also, they made me a special drink. I don't drink alcohol, but I love a passion fruit martini... They made me a non-alcoholic version...YUM. Totally doing that again 🌟

As a former business owner I've noticed some problems. They don't answer the phone on days they are open. There is no way to make an online reservation. Web site is out of date. It sends you to their FB page even though it shows as a link to reservations. Basically, they are understaffed. And at the bottom of their website is a link about an herbal cure for HIV that leads back to their FB page. It's gone way downhill from when it opened a few years ago and the owner himself used to visit tables to chat with guests.

A solid place for dinner in Grants Pass. We really loved the polenta, and my girlfriend enjoyed the chicken saltimbocca. I found the pork shank a bit dull. I really appreciated the extensive gluten-free options and clear marking.

My family and I have had many great dinners at the Food Studio. On Saturday we took a friend out to the Food Studio after telling him what fantastic meals we’ve had there. What a huge huge disappointment. My go to entrée is the ginger flank steak. It took 30 to 45 minutes for us to get our salads. And an hour later, we were still waiting for our entrées. We were told that it was due to the high number of takeout orders. However, I only saw one takeout order the whole entire time that I was there. When my ginger flank steak arrived, I had asked for medium rare. It was medium well the rice was room temperature and clumpy, and there was no ginger on the plate at all. This is my go to meal at the Food Studio and I know how it usually comes. It was terrible! My wife ordered the rockfish piccata. It came with overcooked pasta with no sauce at all on it. Unbelievable the lack of attention to our entire meal last. It’s painfully obvious there’s been a huge turnover in the kitchen with the chef. Time to pump the brakes on this place for six months to a year, there’s just too many other options in downtown Grants Pass truly sad!

Attempting to dine at the Food Studio was the WORST restaurant experience I have ever had. Our party of 6 was seated promptly at one of several vacant tables, was given water, but was not contacted by any staff member again for more than 20 minutes. During this time another party was seated near us, received drinks, and placed their food order. When we finally got our cocktails it was more than 15 minutes before we were approached by staff to place a food order. An hour after being seated, our table had received a drink order and 1 of the appetizers ordered while other diners had entered the restaurant and been served drinks and food. Frustrated by the lack of attention, we questioned staff and were told because we didn't have prior reservations for the evening, diners who did had priority. We continued to wait for our food order. We had been originally seated at 6:45 and at 8:50 had not received our food order. We paid for our drinks and the one appetizer that was served and left to a sarcastic "Enjoy your evening!" from one staff member, indicative of the demeanor of the establishment.

Highly recommend food was great ,nice atmosphere and our Bartender Jeff /waiter was excellent !!! Will be returning soon! Also price of food also good.
