I was born and raised in Chicago, and I’ve lived in the Rogue valley for the last 20 years, all of that time I have always been craving Italian beef sandwiches, and Chicago style pizza, not deep dish, thin crust, what we actually eat in Chicago, and once I found Mama D, my prayers were answered. I know I’m super picky when it comes to my hometown food, but it was just okay. Bread was too dense for the subs IMO. The ratio was off.
Beef gravy wasn’t enough even when asked for it to be dipped/wet. My fault, I didn’t realize the Giardiniera wasn’t included.
Pizza was okay. A little soft on the crust then what I am use to for Chicago style.
