Just tried Neko for the first time. I'm bummed we waited so long. My wife and I had a very good experience tonight. The food was excellent. Can't wait to come back!

The food was quite enjoyable, and I was pleased to find that the kitchen was able to accommodate my gluten and lactose intolerances, even offering tamari. However, a wider array of menu options for such dietary needs would elevate the experience. While the service was very pleasant, it was a challenge to catch the attention of my server for follow-ups, and I felt I was a bit neglected while awaiting my companion.

Great little place next to our hotel and while we were unsure since reviews had less stars than others, it was honest and great for the price! The Oregon roll was perfect, and the other rolls were also tasty. Salmon teriyaki was good, but sauce was a little tasteless. We would definitely return though!

Food is good, but the service was very poor. We had to ask for the ginger and wasabe that accompies the rolls, usually that is out and ready before the rolls come out. After the food came out, we had to get up and ask for napkins, chop sticks and water along with the ginger and wasabe. Very strange, they weren't even busy as there were only four tables with people.

Disappointed. The potstickers and cheese puffs were tasty. The wasabi was off - perhaps frozen and hard like sillyputty. It did not mix well with soy sauce having a granular consistency. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento for the main part of the meal. The miso soup was flavorful. The California roll was dry - my impression is that it wasnt freshly made. The rice was unremarkable. I didn't try the salad. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The teriyaki was thin and lacked flavor. I only had a couple pieces and chose not to finish the rest. The service was on par. Our server was very attentive and friendly. I hope this was a one off. We might consider coming back.

I've only been to a few sushi places and have always enjoyed it, but this place has the best tasting food out of any of them. I try ordering something new each time and have not had anything I didn't like. If I could recommend anything you should try the monkey brain. Sounds gross, tastes amazing, and no there is no brain in the ingredients.
