Do you ever feel like managers are not managing their employees on even basic customer service? That's what our experience here today showed all too clearly. Here are a few improvements that could really have made our experience a 5. 1) Signage that explains how the tasting works would be amazing. 2) My sister and I ordered two separate tasting trays. Half red and half white. Instead of being served our own tray the server doubled each serving carafe. She did not ask us if she could do this or give any explanation. She indicated it was normal procedure. This doesn't work well at all. We didn't enjoy trying to determine how much to put into each glass. 3) We ordered half red and half white and asked for a fresh glass for our reds that she just ignored. After the 3rd glass of white our glasses were gross. 4) When I took 3 menus from the serving area the server stopped me and made me put 2 back even though there was no one else in line to order. She was less than professional about why. She acted like we couldn't even take it back to the table to look it over. So we awkwardly stood there trying to read it feeling like children who had just been scolded. Simple solution-print a few more. 5) 3 of us ordered several trays of charcueterie. The plates were not being cleared until I had to start bringing them back. We were also handed our food to carry to our table even though there was no one else there. 6) For water you get plastic cups that are self serve. Really?The water basin only worked when the handle was pulled down in the flow of the water. No matter how dirty everyone hands are you can't get water without it flowing over the germy handle. Gross. 7) The server would not allow us to pay seperately, leaving one of us to pay the entire amount and then EMAIL us the bill so we could figure out what to pay her back. 8) A beautiful vineyard and space. People just expect basic customer service. You are one of many vineyards so you need to up your game.

Spent some family time today for our 50th day and fell in ♡. The winery was just gorgeous. The ambiance, The Food! Amazing! I couldn't say how the wine was but my family seemed to enjoy it Ok the olives, cheese bread, fruit n cheese platter, mushroom pizza EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! WILL BE BACK.

A nice winery. Interesting blended wines, large selection of offerings. On the style of a CA winery in terms of atmosphere. Looks like a great event venue and they have summer concerts. We enjoyed a nice tasting however we purchased wines from smaller boutique wineries.

Beautiful grounds at Schmidt. The wide walkways wind through tall trees and lead to the taproom, covered outdoor areas and lush lawns. (Sorry there's only one picture. )We were there for an event and service was great. Recommended.
It's a wonderful wineyard, you can enjoy with your family and friends. Good food, excellent wines!!! Your children will be free running, jumping, playing very happy!!! Perfect music!!! Awesome!!!??? ????

Such a fantastic winery! The grounds are absolutely GORGEOUS and the building itself quite stunning. The wine selection is huge and the flights tasty. The food, oh man the food, was SO good! I couldn't think of anything negative if I tried! They have outdoor heaters when it's chilly and a fire pit. Bring a card game or book and prepare to relax in style!
