Dani and Dan shared a flight of their wines and a Marvin Trio board - which was a sourdough loaf with three seasonal spreads. Their wines are fairly unique because they use the field yeast to ferment their grapes, and many of their wines are aged in terra cotta amphorae. This place is thoughtful every aspect of the winemaking process - down to the sourcing of the glass and its environmental impact. Winemaker Nate is so knowledgeable and cares deeply about the science of his craft. Biodynamic wines are often a higher premium but we found this place to be well-priced within this class of growers. Recommend for sure!
This was my first time here and I had the privilege to be served by Katie! She was kind, knowledgeable about the wines, attentive, and truly made this a great experience! If you’re looking for a winery with unique varietals, great service, reasonably priced wines, and are environmentally friendly you should check them out!
