“Places like this are a fading breed, and I love this place. It's just a tasting room with wine photography artwork on the walls, the pleasant winemaker pours and discusses his product, and then you buy some delicious wine (and delicious pretzels made by the winemakers wife) at reasonable prices. This isn't a restaurant "winery" where many come mostly more to eat and socialize more than taste and buy wine, and as such there isn't a nonsense tasting fee (So do the right thing and buy a bottle, or two, or...)“
“This is a definite stop to do a wine tasting and buy several bottles of fabulous wine. The owners are extremely friendly and will great you themselves with open arms and serve you some fabulous wine in their great tasting room.This is a Harvest Host location, so we stayed the night on their property. It was quiet, and beautiful.“
“Just a great winery very relaxing. Views here are awesome. The Applegate wineries are absolutely sensational. This one here is a Dynamite a 10. Between there ports that will blow your palate away. To a champagne that is remarkable with no aftertaste. I do not like champagne and this one is amazing. There wines are so so good!! If you're looking to have a good time, you need this experience. The owners they are absolutely fabulous. If you have questions they don't make you feel stupid. A very easy-going very place of knowledgeable FRIENDS!!“

“What can't I say about this place! They have a donkey and a mini horse. They have a wine membership but ALSO a cheese membership. The most attractive thing about it is that it is kid friendly. I got young ones and being able to bring the babes makes this a place I can go. I won't even try other places that don't allow children. Besides that, I mean , the view and the people are amazing!“
“So far so good. Beautiful vineyard, moderately priced, wonderful atmosphere. The employee was an absolute delight to talk with. We were the only patrons there but she told us all about the vineyard and its history. She did mention kids and animals were allowed as long as they are behaving so I may give it another visit to see how that goes. Not a big fan of kids and animals at a vineyard but I would like to visit again. I would highly recommend this vineyard!“
“Desiree was amazing! She was very personable with fellow clients, as well as ourselves, and was extremely knowledgeable regarding the flight we ordered. We appreciated her honesty with her being the only individual working and treating us with respect. She treated us with the same customer service as if we were the only clients there. “A nice winery. Interesting blended wines, large selection of offerings. On the style of a CA winery in terms of atmosphere. Looks like a great event venue and they have summer concerts. We enjoyed a nice tasting however we purchased wines from smaller boutique wineries.“
“We stayed in the Walport Family Cellars cabin (booked through Airbnb) and it was, without a doubt, the best accommodation we had booked during our four-week 8-state USA trip.The cabin is perfectly located. In the front with a view of the vines and in the back with a view of the forest. Isn't that pure luxury when you can watch deer and squirrels from your bed?The bed is huge and super comfy.The two porches are amazing.The size of the cabin is just perfect.Of course, we also tasted the wines and they are excellent.Amy and Eric are outstanding hosts and I heartily recommend Wine and Cabin.“
