“Went to Grizzly Peak Winery in Ashland, OR. Naomi (alias Wine Gnome) and Virginia always treat us like royalty. Marci got a free professional massage from a local pro. Purchased a few great wines-the Pinot Gris is to die for! Got home and our wine racks were full-went redneck wine rack with the unused dishwasher which is finally now in use!“

The views cannot be beat and the tasting room is super cozy - complete with a fireplace and soft blankets. “Definitely worth a stop! Greeted with a sample of the Rosé when we walked in, and we were able to sit outside where they lit a fire for us. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My husband and I split a flight and all the wines were delicious!“

“Last week (August 2024) I served my dinner party a bottle of Edenvale's 2003 Syrah. I acquired the bottle almost 20 years ago and had worried that I had held onto it too long, especially since I had stored it under far from ideal conditions in several residences as I moved about during my career. But the wine was a marvel and deeply rewarding -- big and generous with beautifully integrated tannins and undiminished freshness. (I just wish I had put away more than one bottle.)“

The building is perched on a hilltop with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, hills, and vineyards. They serve a surprising and delightful variety of food, and of course, wines! Strong supporters of live music, with top talent in the tasting room, or on the well-appointed deck in warm weather. Equally important, the staff are excellent. Friendly, hard-working, and make every visit a pleasure. Highly recommended!“

“Stunning view and fantastic staff, especially the manager! The wine was good--nothing blew me away but it was all lovely. The only reason it's a 4 instead of a 5 star rating is that all the food was straight from Costco. ? If I ever go back, it'll be mainly for the beautiful view.“

“We had a wonderful stay at Edenvale Winery/Voorhies Mansion! Easy and scenic parking area next to the barn. There weren't any foxtails on that lawn area. Dogs had a blast! We enjoyed the amazing wines in the adorable tasting room. The wine tender, Taj was super funny and personable. Great snacks in there too! Highly recommend!“
