“We had the absolute best experience at Hyatt Lake Resort. After Christmas tree hunting with a group of 19, we called ahead to ask if they were open and gave a heads-up about our big group. The woman who answered was so kind and genuinely excited to have us. When we arrived, she had music playing, tables ready, and welcomed us with the biggest smile. The service was attentive and warm, the food was delicious, and the prices were great. As a bonus, Santa even stopped by to visit our grandkids, which completely made their day and ours. Add in the beautiful lake view and it was just a perfect, memorable stop. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back.“

The place is older but well, keep up. There is also views of the lake. They also sell a few lake necessities here.“

“This is my favorite ice cream shop anywhere hands down. Delicious ice cream, so many choices, great portions, and great service. I was helped by a very kind young man last week. I believe his name is Merlin. I wanted to try many flavors and he served me with a smile and great attitude the entire time! All the young servers there are great, but Merlin is one of my favorites! Thank you Zoe’s! And they are open until 10pm in the summer! Can’t wait to come back for more ice cream!“

“Oh my goodness! One of the best restaurants in Ashland for a fine dining experience and high-end chefs! We ate here for Thanksgiving dinner in 2025 and it was probably the best turkey I’ve had in my life. Every single bite of all the food was delicious and then we just came again this week, and once again, every bite was delicious! For starters, we had profiteroles and snap peas with mushrooms, and our entrees were an incredible potato-crusted risotto, and the salmon. The restaurant is so charming and the service is excellent. Jasmine was very attentive and such a delightful waitress. My partner is a vegetarian, and there were plenty of items for him to choose from. 👌🎉“

“The Shepherd's pie was just okay, but I haven't tasted the other grub. But the bar is a great pub with brick walls and an amazing array of bourbons. Etc. The back room has a couch and picture windows off the creek promenade. Oh, and the bartender is smart and fun to chat with. And they have music or open mic some evenings.“

“When making the drive along the 5, I always plan to stop in Ashland to fuel the car then drive to Sammich to fuel my body for the rest of the drive. I have had several of their sandwiches from the board. We got Da Burg cheeseburger with everything and the Ashlyn turkey sandwich with cranberry sauce to try and scratch that Thanksgiving leftover sandwich itch you know you get once you think about it. Burger was great. Wish I wasn't driving so I could have had one of the beers they were selling. Reports on the turkey was that it was good but make the recommendation for a gravy aioli to complete the turkey day craving. We'll be back.“

“First time here passing through and it was delicious 😋 I got the sesame chicken (I DEFINITELY recommend 👌🏻), beef fried rice, and vegetable Lo Mein! Lo Mein was good but I prefer the chow mein. Fast and kind service. The booths were nice I like sitting in booths the most. Server didnt mind my baby was fussy so I was able to walk around and calm him down. There wasn't anyone else there anyway. Just a couple people came to pick up orders to go. And theres a cool mini 21+ slot machine area.“
