“It’s no secret that this part of Oregon is not known for their Asian foods.. so we are lucky that Sushi Heaven exists in Ashland! I’ve been going here every time I’m in town for several years now. The family that owns and runs this place is the best! Friendly, generous, kind people. And the food is top notch! Even tho it’s mostly sushi as the name suggests, you can order off-menu Korean items as well. Good people. Good food. Good times! And now with Robot Server Cat!!“

“I love, love, love Sawaddee!!! If you just want some delicious food, come on over to Sawaddee. Our family goes here around once a month. Our personal favorite is the Singapore rice noodles with tofu. You can find something for everyone on the menu. Thank you for providing Ashland with lovely meals, Sawaddee!!!Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian personally, and it is a definitely vegetarian friendly restaurant.“

“For years, the fried chicken has been a standout item on the menu. Not this Sunday. It was really a breast that was coated and fried. The potatoes were too runny and the whole thing delivered lukewarm. Brussels sprouts were good. Service was pleasant although we had to ask twice for bread.“

“Ashland staple! If you are here visiting, you must try this breakfast place at least once. Proportions are huge, so be prepared to ask for a box, be stuffed for the day, or do a half-order for $2.50 if you’re watching your figure or something. Very cute and cozy ambience. I got a muffin that was warm like it just came out of the oven. Fluffy pancakes. My suggestion is to come with a friend so you can share both savory and sweet dishes.“

“The tiny-size scoop of ice cream was perfect for how late we were getting dessert (they have normal scoop sizes, too). The pastry case looks amazing, and the macarons were a hit with my kids.I'm sensitive to soy, and when I asked the cashier what was safe for me to have, he tried to get ahold of the bakers (who had left for the day) and ultimately gave me his best guess while apologizing that he couldn't guarantee the ingredients. I appreciated the effort and honesty.“

“In town from Sac. friends took me here. I had the most delightful slice of Pizza. The order taker was very helpful and patient. Each table had a bottle of paarm. and pepper flakes, on the side shelf bottles of garlic powder, Italian herbs salt & pepper.Needless say my combo veggie slice of pizza was devine. Ate every bit of the crust will stop in again.NOTE: they coulda turned up the Greatful Dead.“

“I would vote twice 5 stars if I had the option, definitely recommend the food. This place is very kid friendly, and once our server (Behnam) realized my daughter is resisting food, he offered a cheaper option, then he gave a small sized cup of their amazing smoothie to my daughter. Food was great quality and well cooked. It was a clean place to eat. The yogurt, garlic bread, and spicy sauce were very tasty.Kid-friendliness: They were really nice and accommodating with kids.“

“Love these guys! They are our local coffee shop, but still better than all the others in the valley, maybe because they've stayed small and focused on quality? Love the pastries and snacks too, but hurry as they go fast. And a bar with cocktails, and good covered seating. What's not to like?“

“My sisters and I met here for brunch and couldn't get enough of the mouth watering Cheese Blintzes. We also got the number 2 omelett and it was super flavorful. This was our first time and everything we tried we enjoyed! Definitely worth checking out“

“Very creative menu, chose the restaurant because everything looked good and the wine list had great depth and a more than a few values. Service was top notch on a very busy night. Set in an old Victorian home, the dining room is very comfortable. We ordered 3 starter and 2 main course, paired each with something from the WBTG list and never felt rushed, each course was served at a very comfortable pace.“

“Every time I've been the foods been great. I mean for a fast food style Mediterranean joint you can't really ask for more. Service is pretty consistent, and the vibes are alright in shop. I almost always get my food to go and have never had an issue getting in and out in 5-10min!“

“Love this place, food is great and affordable, which is rare in Ashland. Feels very community-loved. Breakfast burritos, burgers and vegetarian food are all really good. Counter service only, but very good, always efficient. Please don't ever change Ruby's!“

“This is a great local ramen spot in downtown! The food comes out so fast, it's reasonably priced, and it is so filling!! Hiro js a casual hang out that is popular with the locals. The best thing on the menu is the tonkstu ramen which is fantastic! They give you so much ramen! It's the best on a colder Ashland day. They do have some weird hours. Always double check if they are open because they close between lunch and dinner.“

“This place has never disappointed us. A perfect fusion with great taste and healthy ingredients. Also the food is not oily like some Indian food and flavor is full. Highly recommend this placeParking: There’s long stretch of free parking on both side of the street“

“Although their current evening hours don't coincide with a dish of ice cream after an evening performance of Macbeth, Gayle and I managed to work in a delicious junior combination (2 flavors) dish after a matinee performance after we returned from seeing "Off Peak" (staring Michael Elich and Robin Goodrin Nordli) at the Rogue Theater Company. We've been coming here maybe since 2006 when we first attended OSF performances. And now after our 4 year COVID and relocation break, we're happy to be back and to enjoy some of the tasty treats and experiences we so fondly missed. Not much appears to have changed at Zoey's, except maybe pricing. It's still casual, fun, family friendly, and a comfortable place to hang out.“

“This is the best food I've ever had in my life, no exaggeration. I always order the biscuits and gravy and coffee and it's so damn good. The service is lightning quick when it isn't busy and when it is busy it's still very fast. Booths are very comfortable and employees are friendly. Overall 10/10 experience.“

“My favorite pizza place in the Rogue Valley. Their sourdough crust is delicious. My all-time favorite is just a simple pepperoni pizza with the pepperoni underneath the cheese. Staff has always been very friendly and they get the orders done quickly.“

“Once you figure out their hours, the food is great here. We live locally and come for bakery goods after a lake day, or picnic grab and go food. The hot sandwiches are delicious too. Tempeh Reuben, yumm or a burger. Good coffee drinks too. This cafe is located inside The Ashland Hills hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating.“

“Was so happy to find a restaurant that accommodates for vegans. Partner and i are both VG and they had several options and they said they could make any item VG. I had the rose lemonade and the Tempehst but sub the aoli for pesto. Which their pesto is VG too. Would highly recommend“

“I really want to like this place, as it is my go to cafe in Ashland. Upstairs of the bookstore, the ambience is cozy and friendly. The coffee and food is not bad. The service, however, is slow. They’re nice. But slow. They like to take their time. But I’ve been going to this place for year and I still want to support them.“

“Chad & his crew have just assumed command of Neil's legendary establishment, and they're knocking the ball out of the court, especially on this busy, 1st NFL-Sunday when other local pubs have run out of seats, A/C, & tasty food...“

“Kobe in Ashland, Oregon, exceeded expectations. The Kobe Drop cocktail and Floral Old Fashioned were delightful highlights. The sushi experience was equally impressive, with the Dynamite and Yakuza rolls, along with the Duck Spring Rolls, showcasing the diverse and flavorful offerings. A definite recommendation for both cocktail enthusiasts and sushi lovers. Excellent table service and calm, quiet ambiance on the creek.“

“I hear the sushi is great, however... I haven't been able to get past the Katsu Curry! Only place probably within 300 miles of the Rogue Valley to get authentic Japanese Curry! You can actually taste the butter from the roux they make to tighten it up! Comparable to Coco Curry in Japan!“

“I loved Agave! I definitely recommend trying this restaurant. Parking Parking wasn't hard to find, they have their own parking lot in the back and also street parking. Ambiance It is cute and kind of small. Service The service was fast and friendly. Food I tried the chips and guacamole and the red enchiladas with a side of refried beans and rice. The chips were so fresh, crunchy and perfectly fried and the guacamole was thick and fresh - both were perfect. The enchiladas were so good too! The chicken was nice and tender and the tortillas were so soft and soaked up that amazing red sauce perfectly. The refried beans and rice were both soft and savory. Overall You should definitely try this restaurant!“

“First thing to note - the restaurant is downstairs from Kobe Japanese restaurant, but there's no sign on the street level, so it can be a little confusing.Once you find it, though, it's a great experience! I am gluten free, and this is the next GF pizza I've ever had. They make their own GF pizza dough and it's amazing. Taste and texture are the closest to the gluten kind I've had in the past 3 years. For the first time, I felt like I was just having pizza, not a consolation prize! Be warned that there is a high chance of cross contamination as everything is made in a shared kitchen and oven. The pizza was a bit pricy, at $24 for a 14" cheese pizza (including a $4 upcharge for the GF crust), and the service was a bit slow, but the people were very kind and the food delicious. I would definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust option, but the kitchen and oven are shared so there's a high probability of cross contamination.“

“Dobrá is a cute place to grab an afternoon tea and hang with friends. The ambiance is super cozy and everything you'd want from a tea house. I enjoy all the options for seating! There are 2-too tables with chairs, a cozy little couch area and then a traditional floor seating area with cushions. All the spaces are separate from each other giving you some privacy. The tea selection is very vast!! It is mostly more herb, garden forward teas rather than sweet, fruit teas. There is an entire page of only herbal teas without caffeine which I really appreciate as a non-caffeine drinker. They also have a few pastries that are all gluten-free options. It is pretty dark in there with the windows being covered and the "mood lighting." So it is more of a space to journal or quietly chat in with a friend. They do not have wifi, so this is not the place to come and work or study. There is free parking reserved for Dobrá tea customer in the back! Very helpful for when downtown gets really busy in the summer.“

“I did not get our servers name, but she was amazing!!! We hit this place up with a party of 22 on a Saturday night and they made it happen for us! We had a partial team and parents who wanted to celebrate the SOU lacrosse season and NW Pizza took excellent care of us! The food was excellent and the service was over the top! Thank you!!“

“What a terrific experience! We arrived late into town and caught an Uber to the restaurant about an hour before closing. We were greeted with smiles, a fun attitude, and patience while we deliberated about drinks and food. Totally set the mood for the meal. The food was FANTASTIC! We ordered: the albacore salad, grilled asparagus and cucumber (who knew?!), yogurt with pickles, fries with housemade aioli, and, our absolute favorite, a savory cheesecake. So good I had to congratulate the chef, who says it was a fortuitous accident in the kitchen which they tweaked and kept in the menu. A MUST. Bathroom and restaurant are clean, comfortable, with nice lighting. We talked about this restaurant for days- pricing completely commensurate with the quality and quantity. Bookmark this restaurant!“

“Better burger and better service than even some of the best places in portland ? i called in an order shortly before closing and not only were they happy to make the order, they were super nice - they were out of gluten-free buns, and offered to make me a salad to go with my burger that wasn't even on the menu yet. It was SO good, AND they didn't upcharge me, AND the fries were so good I really didn't care about missing out on a bun. My husband got the tenders and buffalo sauce and said they were excellent. Very clear that everything is house-made with care :)Dietary restrictions: Friendly and supportive re: gluten sensitivity :)“

“Having been in the area, happy bowl has been a relatively consistent meal that is located ideally in town. Specifically, not being right in the heart of downtown is nice because it fills a niche of food diversity for that area which is very helpful to not have to travel long distances. My most recent experience there was pleasant but also of slight nostalgia. Recently, their menu was overhauled and I do miss their previous menu which had a lot more options and felt more authenticity. I felt that that last time I went while the food was good it felt a little bit more formulaic and lacking a certain character to it. The one great factor is they have kept their prices very reasonable and very good quantity of food! Definitely able to get leftovers for lunch the next day out of the meal. The family who operates is very hard working and regardless of what they offer; they are a great venue to support with a consistent quality of food.“

“The calamari is always amazing. It's one of my favorite items on the menu. It comes with some of the best tarter sauce and spicy cocktail sauce. It's a must have.I ordered the NY strip and my wife ordered the flat iron steak. Both were perfectly temped. The mashed potatoes were yummy and garlicky. The vegetables were fresh and al dente. Great attention by the kitchen. We split a piece of the caramel cheesecake. It was very tasty and silky smooth. The service was exceptional. There wasn't an empty drink once. Thank you for the awesome experience!“

“One of the first meals I ever had in Ashland. Bangers and Mash + Moscow mule for lunch on a Saturday afternoon is 10/10 highly recommended The service was fast and friendly You have to head up a set of stairs straight up to the pub and upon entering they have fun activities listed on the bulletin on the wall. Interior is British pub-esque and very spacious. Drinks are good and strong, food was delicious I want to go back :') ADD MUSHROOM GRAVY!!!! You won't regret it!“
“We came to town for college basketball and stumbled upon Caldera's being close to the hotel. Drinks, soup, burgers, fish and chips, mushroom fettuccine...delicious. Fresh and full of their own flavors. So good, we came back a second time in parties of 6-8 and they were great with service, checking on us and again no one was dissatisfied with their food. Awesome ambiance, very comfortable feeling. Family lives close by and I'm sure they will frequent the place now. I'll be back eventually.“

“Admittedly I am very picky when I eat out and hesitate to try new places for fear of disappointment. This place, though there was one element which needs improvement genuinely shocked me.Starters: I hope the GM reads this cause asking one person to answer the phones/take online orders and in person orders is ridiculous which resulted a wait time which normally would push me away. But, I was very impressed by the atmosphere and though they are outdoor seating ONLY, the heaters provide are more than efficient on a cold Ashland day.I closely watched the chefs as they ran a very well put together kitchen as we got our food in ten minutes. It was busy, with in person and online orders which suggests the bearded chef is the only one in Ashland I have witnessed can prioritize prioritize. The food was INCREDIBLE. I really wanted to take pics but I was so excited to dig in especially after asking for extra pickles and getting almost a whole jar!!!!!!! Somebody understands my pickle obsessions. I ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich and I was delighted! I read the low reviews stating they don’t put enough meat on it and that is somewhat true but, I felt the contrasts were perfectly balanced however the bread was a bit thick so stick with the recommendation of the (more at home bread). I have worked in many many kitchens and perfected top end burgers and was astounded they got this perfect for my partner. It was medium (without asking) and devoured in minutes.Special note…..whoever came up with the potato salad recipe…I want to have your babies! The myriad of flavors/textures was so above and beyond even my attempts!Kid-friendliness: I saw children thereWheelchair accessibility: Low tables for accessibility.“

“Very nice people who obviously really care about their customers. Delightful attitudes, tasty food and served hot. Generous portions too. They offer whole beans for those who don't want to eat lard and if you want a hotter salsa than normal, just ask and they'll bring it on out.“

“Some incredible food that made me order seconds before I was done with my first meal, I’m not a big fan of coconut but none of the food tasted overly coconut, cocktails were great, and the staff were polite and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant but not overly interesting or overwhelming!“
