Hiro Ramen Reviews
This place was a fantastic find. The waiter who worked was awesome! He was super friendly and took great care of us. The food (Miso and Tonkotsu with pork) was excellent and came out hot and fresh. It was so good we ate every last drop. We will definitely come back to eat here.
Ordered spicy Tonkotsu ramen with charsu. It tasted good. However, few reasons it didn't feel perfect. The broth felt like lacked the bite(thickness) typically found in really good ramen broth. The texture of noodles was a bit off too. Everything tasted fresh though. The charsu could have been seared a lil bit. These are not complaints because the food was bad but rather suggestions for improvements. The atmosphere and service was perfect!
Great little spot my gf and I tried. Next time we're in Ashland we have somewhere we know we love. Tonkotsu ramen, spicy tofu rice bowl, and tako-yaki are all on the list of deliciousness 😋

Hiro Ramen offers beautifully assembled, extremely flavorful, and generously portioned ramen in a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant features a variety of options, including vegetarian and vegan choices such as Tofu, Curry, and Veggie Ramen. Customers praise the fast service, reasonable prices, and filling meals, especially the popular Tonkotsu Ramen on colder days. The broth is well-balanced, and customers can customize their bowls by adding ingredients like mushroom for an extra $2, which enhances the flavor. Some reviewers noted that the mushroom should probably be included by default. The restaurant is a favorite among locals, attracting people of all ages, including families and couples. Its simple, comfortable design and attentive, courteous service create a welcoming environment. The kid-friendly menu, including the Shoyu Ramen, receives positive feedback, with children often talking about their meals for days. Besides ramen, offerings such as edamame and calamari are well-liked. While the restaurant can get busy and service may slow during peak hours, the staff is efficient and helpful. Overall, Hiro Ramen remains a solid neighborhood spot, known for its delicious food and great management, making it a perfect stop for any road trip or casual outing.
