“Made a reservation for our anniversary at Larks. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. I had the salmon special, it was excellent. Wife had the salad special with sides and she was very happy with the selections. Made for a memorable special occasion.“
“The pork belly is fabulous! & The breaded chicken was the best chicken I have tasted and we loved the ceaser salad. We will be back, it will be a little while, maybe next year because it is pricey.Kid-friendliness: Not any kid friendly food“
“My sisters and I met here for brunch and couldn't get enough of the mouth watering Cheese Blintzes. We also got the number 2 omelett and it was super flavorful. This was our first time and everything we tried we enjoyed! Definitely worth checking out“
“Simple cafe is amazing. It's always fresh and their weekly "specials" menu is always so good that there are still things on the main menu I haven't even gotten to! If you're looking for a high quality, reasonably priced meal in Ashland look no further.Wedding Catering Review below:WOW! I truly don't have the words to describe how amazing the food was at our wedding (October 2023, 106 people). Javier and his team were punctual and I got so many compliments on the food. Both the chicken and pork options were amazing. Javier has his own plates, utensils, water glasses, etc which helped immensely as we didn't have to coordinate with another vendor to rent these items. Whether you need a large event catered, or simply need lunch, you cannot go wrong with Simple Cafe.“
“I was looking for something fun to do around here. I went to a cute emporium, passed by Starbucks and thought naw, too average. Boy oh boy I am so happy I stepped in here! I'm not sure where this ice cream comes from, but I'm 45, and this is the second best ice cream I've ever had in my entire life. I'm allergic to alcohol but the bourbon hot fudge is amazing and I don't taste anything like alcohol. The vibe in here is very chill complete with some chill music, it's airy and bright in here but not cold or hot. I'm loving it. The coffee is mixed with care you find in Portland or Seattle. I'm not tasting the coffee flavor, it's a perfect mocha. You can also get a scoop of this ice cream with a double shot of espresso, I was thinking about it, but next time definitely. Best ice cream in Southern Oregon for definite.“
“I was happy that the food was so good here! Sad that they are substituting the halibut for mahi mahi in the miso halibut dish, as the fish in the menu looked really appealing. Cocktails were so pretty. Dessert (gooey chocolate thing) was phenomenal. Table next to us very loud and annoying. Too bad we weren’t seated further from them. Garden gorgeous.“
“Food was alright we just got breakfast and hubby didn't care for the chicken fried steak he didn't care for the breading they used on it and hash browns were very over cooked but everything else was good coffee was very strong and they only have half and half they need to offer flavored “
“You don't pay an arm and a leg to eat at Ruby's and the food is good. I enjoy eating their food whether I'm eating in or ordering to go.Vegetarian options: Most vegetarian dishes can easily be made vegan. I ordered a veggie burger the last time I ate here but there are burritos and sandwiches as well.“
“Once you figure out their hours, the food is great here. We live locally and come for bakery goods after a lake day, or picnic grab and go food. The hot sandwiches are delicious too. Tempeh Reuben, yumm or a burger. Good coffee drinks too. This cafe is located inside The Ashland Hills hotel. There is indoor and outdoor seating.“
“A very personal, fantastic experience. You can tell the chef takes great pride and has tremendous passion in his craft, and the Somm is very personable, and ardent with presentation. I think my wife teared up with each course; something I’ve only been able to do three or four times when cooking for her over 20 years. 100% will be back. Highly recommend. An experience to be enjoyed by both seasoned professionals and foodies alike.“
