“Fabulous tasting food. Each mouthful was lovely. We had the sardine and frissee salad with light and fresh flavors. The asparagus with goat cheese with vinegrette was a nice light starter. Steelhead trout stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with grape leaves grilled was flavorful and not “fishy”. The lamb bucatini was very flavorful and well matched to a Pinot. The chef is a genius combining flavors that are subtle and satisfying.“

“Beautiful space, romantic atmosphere, friendly service. Felt like stepping into an intimate restaurant from the 20s / 30s in the best way. Food? OUTSTANDING. I loved that it was a smaller, straightforward menu but still carefully curated. We were here on a mini vacation for the OSF and if (when) we decide to come back, we will definitely be making a stop here. I’m never going to stop thinking about the cauliflower appetizer!“

“We walked in after having to make a quick pivot from our downtown dinner reservation due to the power outage. Joseph greeted us warmly and took us in as “refugees” and sat us at a great little table inside with a view of the garden. Perfect! Joseph was super-attentive all evening long. The craft cocktails were excellent, as was our food. We shared greens and vegetables salad; my wife had the halibut special on an incredible peach romanescu sauce with the crispiest, lightest potatoes ever made. I had a delicious plate of hand cut sourdough pasta. Our dessert was an Egyptian cake that was a miracle of textures and flavors. Thank you Joseph, chef, bartender and the entire staff for a perfect Ashland experience.“

“We really enjoyed meeting up with local family and our SOU student here for dinner. The chopped salad was a hit, as well as the tuna melt and pulled pork sandwich. The highlight for me was the pumpkin curry soup, with depth of flavor and the perfect amount as a starter course. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Will definitely be back.“

“Ordered the much hyped pastrami zombie. Very good sandwich. Crunchy lightly toasted bread wrapping smoky, flavorful pastrami and coleslaw that must all the homemade. The sandwich was small, in a world of oversized stuffed sammiches. Tasty, but a bit reserved.“
