cocorico Reviews
Fabulous tasting food. Each mouthful was lovely. We had the sardine and frissee salad with light and fresh flavors. The asparagus with goat cheese with vinegrette was a nice light starter. Steelhead trout stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with grape leaves grilled was flavorful and not “fishy”. The lamb bucatini was very flavorful and well matched to a Pinot. The chef is a genius combining flavors that are subtle and satisfying.

Cocorico is a small, bright, and clean restaurant serving French-inspired cuisine. The friendly staff provide excellent service and cater to vegan and vegetarian options. The menu features dishes like the halibut, lamb, and steamer clams in broth with grilled olive bread, along with pork chops with potatoes and greens, a roasted carrot special, and a variety of salads. The restaurant boasts an extensive wine list and a well-curated cocktail menu, including the popular Oaxacan Old Fashioned. The atmosphere is inviting, with both indoor seating and a heated outdoor patio that creates a cozy and romantic setting, perfect for celebrating special moments. The dishes are well-presented, with rich flavors and interesting combinations, and the staff is knowledgeable about the food, helping guests enjoy each bite. Cocorico is always busy, but the hostess works hard to accommodate everyone. It is a great spot for a satisfying and memorable meal.
