“Love these guys! They are our local coffee shop, but still better than all the others in the valley, maybe because they've stayed small and focused on quality? Love the pastries and snacks too, but hurry as they go fast. And a bar with cocktails, and good covered seating. What's not to like?“

“Simple cafe is amazing. It's always fresh and their weekly "specials" menu is always so good that there are still things on the main menu I haven't even gotten to! If you're looking for a high quality, reasonably priced meal in Ashland look no further.Wedding Catering Review below:WOW! I truly don't have the words to describe how amazing the food was at our wedding (October 2023, 106 people). Javier and his team were punctual and I got so many compliments on the food. Both the chicken and pork options were amazing. Javier has his own plates, utensils, water glasses, etc which helped immensely as we didn't have to coordinate with another vendor to rent these items. Whether you need a large event catered, or simply need lunch, you cannot go wrong with Simple Cafe.“

“Everything is great about this place except for the service. Seems like the employees can only do one thing at a time. There is always a long line, and it's painful to watch as one employee is semi- competent, and the other two are completely clueless! So after a long wait in line, they expect a tip. Someone needs to train the employees here how to be more efficient.Otherwise, the bread is the best in town, truly! The baguettes are JUST LIKE THE ONES IN FRANCE! The iced coffee on nitro is perfect, the ice cream flavors are unique and original, the pastries are to die for.......Someone really knows what they are doing here!I'm truly addicted to their little baguette sandwiches. This place is great except for the clueless, slow employees. This place could operate so much more smoothly and efficiently if they would train their employees a little better.I'll give them 5-stars when they fix this.“

“Great little coffee stop. I typically order a lavender oatmilk latte, but they don't have lavender here so I was mildly bummed about that, but the barista provided fantastic service and the black drip coffee was yummy and brewed well. The music was great and not overly loud (good for reading or studying). They let us know that we could get a free to-go refill, too! I'd definitely come back and try some more of their drinks and treats.“

Soft Serve Ice Cream

“I was looking for something fun to do around here. I went to a cute emporium, passed by Starbucks and thought naw, too average. Boy oh boy I am so happy I stepped in here! I'm not sure where this ice cream comes from, but I'm 45, and this is the second best ice cream I've ever had in my entire life. I'm allergic to alcohol but the bourbon hot fudge is amazing and I don't taste anything like alcohol. The vibe in here is very chill complete with some chill music, it's airy and bright in here but not cold or hot. I'm loving it. The coffee is mixed with care you find in Portland or Seattle. I'm not tasting the coffee flavor, it's a perfect mocha. You can also get a scoop of this ice cream with a double shot of espresso, I was thinking about it, but next time definitely. Best ice cream in Southern Oregon for definite.“
