i had a horrible experience with a "waitress " (person taking orders at the counter on the restaurant store). I brought my teacup maltese (4.5 lb dog) in (inside my jacket mind you) and went to the counter to order. The highly unpleasant woman at the counter asserted that I needed to remove my animal (didn't even ask if it was a service animal), to which I replied that I would put her in my car. Taquería Picaro is a wonderful hidden gem with awesome food, drinks, customer service, and atmosphere. The food is beyond amazing and cozy, considered the best in southern Oregon. Delicious fish tacos, especially the baja fish tacos with sublime flavours, are highly recommended. The bar has a cozy, communal atmosphere with a spectacular R&B vibe, though the main dining area lacks the same ambience. The best taco Tuesday drink special includes The PURIST with tajin around the rim. Service is insanely good and friendly despite staff tending bar and waiting tables. This unassuming spot is a go-to for Mexican, where one can head upstairs for a cerveza while waiting.
