“I'm reading the mixed reviews and fortunately I didn't encounter any of the negatives.I thought it was odd that my sister wanted to take us to a winery that serves pizza but I'm here for it. We were visiting favorite places my late brother in law used to like to visit.What was impressive was the selection of wine slushies. My sister went with the mango flavor, while I chose Spicy Watermelon and my husband went with beer. I'm glad I stuck with one drink or two would have knocked me out.For food we chose the pesto/mushroom pizza and a pepperoni pizza, along with their special charcuterie board of the day. I liked the texture of the crust, it was just right. The charcuterie board was clever with fruit, cheese, pizza crust. We sat outdoors and were visited by the wasps, but it's the outdoors. There's also two little pups that hang out around the property and come over for an occasional belly rub.This winery was featuring arts and crafts on our visit where people were making decorative boards to take home while enjoying their wine/slushies and pizza.“
“The wine at Becker Vineyard is exceptional.Peggy, one of the owners, always makes you feel like you’re at home when you visit.If you only have time to stop at a few of the great wineries in the Umpqua Valley you should put Becker at the top of your list.“
“Abacela is one of the most beautiful wineries in Douglas County. The views alone are enough to visit, but the wines will keep you coming back for more. A favorite of mine is the Viognier. It's a beautiful white wine, perfect for any occasion. Slightly sweet and crisp. Love it!“

“We stopped by spontaneously while driving on the highway and it was so worth the stop. Don’t look for signage, just follow your gps. The wine was great, the people were very friendly, and the whole thing was just unpretentious and down to earth. The Barbera and Baco were our favorites.“
