It is hard to beat the atmosphere, service and food at Cartwrights. We were attended to and sat promptly by our server, Bee. We asked for outdoor seating. From our table under the shade umbrella we watched the Rogue River pass by. The overhead canopy of trees provided welcome relief from the sun that snuck in under the umbrella. I started off with a Bloody Mary that rocked. The Cobb Salad was a mountain of delight. The vast menu does not have have selections listed as vegetarian or gluten free options. The menu states that those customers with dietary restrictions or allergies are to inform their waiter or waitress. This restaurant has plenty of free parking and is wheelchair accessible with the help of an elevator. There is a wide variety of shareable dishes,, salads, and pub favorites such as mahi-mahi tacos, ribs and fries and fish and chips. Specialties are griiled salmon, fettucine Alfredo along with a wide selection of burgers and sandwiches. There is a garden burger, but it is not listed as vegetarian. This establishment is suitable for children, althouth the menu does not featue any kid's selections.

Best Calamari ever!!!!!!!!! Best bread pudding!!!!! Best peanut butter pie!!!! Best cream brûlée!!! BUT…. We were disappointed in the prime rib… we thought it was going to be an actual steak… not ham!!! We both hate ham and the mashed potatoes were a bit sour!!! But overall I’d give it a 4/5

What better than having lunch with a good view . This place offers quick service accompanied with delicious meals . We ordered ahi tuna, grilled cheese, chicken steak , fish and chips and smoked chicken wings.

Overall it’s an ok place. They switched the calamari from little pieces to these giant thick rectangles that are honestly kind of gross. The flavor was great though, the texture was odd. Mahi tacos were ok, but could have used some seasoning. The fish and chips was pretty tasty though

Food was decent, but a little pricy for the quality in my opinion. I did not find it to be worth it..

Isabella was a great server who gave us excellent service and attention. She was patient as my child was having a hard time deciding. Made us feel comfortable and always had a smile on her face. I would recommend her to anyone looking to have a great time at the new and improved taprock establishment!

When you are supplying the meat from your well known store to your newly acquired Restaurant and the best part of my meal was the cheesecake, not the Brisket, something is not working. The brisket was not fresh, I have had good Beef Brisket and this was not it. I don't have a warm and fuzzy feeling about coming back and I sure wouldn't order the Brisket if I did. You don't want to be known for your Cheesecake. In Grant's Pass Cartwright's means MEAT!!

Lovely place overlooking the river. GENEROUS portions, tasty. Service ran slow but they were busy.

Had some very good food outside on the deck overlooking the river. Great menu and beverage choices and great service as well.

Tried the new Cartwrights Taprock for breakfast and will be back for chicken fried steak AND the super yummy Bloody Mary...surprisingly reasonably priced....100% recommend.

The service was a little slow and didn't get the order right, but when confronted about that. They took some money off of the bill. The char broiled ribeye dinner was delicious!!

I went there with my girlfriends when it changed over to Cartwright's The food was good but I will say I do miss the tap rock menu it had much more to choose from.

Traci Hoke

I went alone, practically ignored. Had to flag someone down just to get seated. Waited over 5 minutes just for a menu and water. Ordered a chicken fried steak that was undercooked, rare (didn’t even get to medium rare), was still red and chewy. I won’t be going back any time soon.
