Food is top tier, love the Jpops though there gotten smaller probably inflation. The ragoons are amazing! Honey shrimp and pitaya chicken are also solid choices!

For years I avoided this place because, historically, this was the location of "The Office", one of those run down dive bars. Not so after Taroko Tapas Bar moved in.The food is perfect, great service by people who want to be there, and they make a great Long Island Iced Tea. The Jalapeno Poppers are hand made and great. The Beef Won Ton Soup is even better. I've consumed nothing there that was not very, very good and they serve it in a timely manner.I wish the place was a bit brighter inside, and a remodel of the streetside wouldn't hurt, but for now, I just hope they keep the doors open. You should do date night there.

The only reason this place gets one star is because I can't give half a star or a minus one star! The service was good, the waiter was very friendly and polite. However the restaurant was filthy, we ended up moving tables because there were fruit flies all over the wall by our table, the waiter did apologize about it. The food was terrible, obviously from frozen, the tuna was thick cuts but tasteless and the wonton in the soup had a terrible aftertaste, the broth tasted like the water leftover from 2 minute noodles.I told the waiter I wasn't happy with the food, he offered to make another wonton soup to takeaway but I refused as the first one was so bad... Will not be going back!

So good! Fresh and lovely presentation. We sat at the ?.. we were from out of town but visiting GP for the 8th time or so. We enjoyed talking with the bar tender and learning about the history of the business and other local trivia. Others joined for dining at the bar too. Felt like we were locals! We can't wait to come back. Next time want to do "the bridge".

I've been going to this place for long enough that I realized they really deserve a review! For a place with a limited menu I can say that what they do, they do well and pretty damn consistently. As my husband is gluten intolerant, Taroko has been a truly awesome find when we're in the mood for something Asian. The Pattaya Chicken is made gluten free by design, the stir frys can be requested gluten free where they use gluten free soy sauce. Some other dishes are also gluten free already or some finishing sauces can be excluded to make it gluten free. The staff is knowledgeable and accommodating and very happy to comply with food allergies where possible. The staff here is always so welcoming and in great spirits! Not being gluten intolerant myself, I always enjoy getting the J Pops, they really hit the spot. However sometimes they can be a lot more spicy than other times (maybe some seeds got left behind? I dunno...) So that's something to be aware of if you're sensitive to spicy food. The avocado bomb, potstickers, and chicken satay are also always on point. The dining room is very cozy with only a handful of tables and limited bar seating, so unless you're looking to partake in their lovely array of alcoholic indulgences I highly recommend getting your order to go. Their food travels pretty well and they give you condiments and utensils as needed. Anyway, just a fantastic gem in Grants Pass where good, unique cuisine with gluten free options is a difficult thing to find! Thank you Taroko and staff!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available for some dishes and some dishes are already gluten free

I highly recommended this restaurant a year ago. Today I ordered the Jpops that use to be my go to that were made with pablano chilies, I received 4 small jalapenos for the same price as the pablano chilies. My check was $14.50 and the waiter came back with a five dollar bill. Pretty sketchy to me. I do not recommend this establishment.
We have been here many times over the years I was shock about the quality of food and what happened. they have lost focus on quality it was not seasoned and served cold. For what we pay for. we expect their best. Sodisappointing, they could not even cook stir fry chicken or street noodles it was the worst so sad. I expect better, this place was the best. It has lost its way, so sad. ?

Some of the Pictures make it look fancier than it is. It's just a bar that serves Asian food. The food is pretty good and the service was great. Not sure if we'll be back but don't regret going.

Low quality, frozen, pre-made products, re-heated and served with a smile. The service is genuine and friendly, but the food is under-whelming, poor, and disatisfying.

Nothing quite like a coconut martini and an avocado bomb when it’s 102 outside- love this place & their outstanding staff, 100% integrity.
