So good! Fresh and lovely presentation. We sat at the ?.. we were from out of town but visiting GP for the 8th time or so. We enjoyed talking with the bar tender and learning about the history of the business and other local trivia. Others joined for dining at the bar too. Felt like we were locals! We can't wait to come back. Next time want to do "the bridge".
I've been going to this place for long enough that I realized they really deserve a review! For a place with a limited menu I can say that what they do, they do well and pretty damn consistently. As my husband is gluten intolerant, Taroko has been a truly awesome find when we're in the mood for something Asian. The Pattaya Chicken is made gluten free by design, the stir frys can be requested gluten free where they use gluten free soy sauce. Some other dishes are also gluten free...read full review

For years I avoided this place because, historically, this was the location of "The Office", one of those run down dive bars. Not so after Taroko Tapas Bar moved in.The food is perfect, great service by people who want to be there, and they make a great Long Island Iced Tea. The Jalapeno Poppers are hand made and great.
