16 yrs ago I did the tile on the entire bar and back wall..all the wood floors and designed the kitchen layout. Still looks great. Some history. The Original Garden Burger at its beginning started in the house, before he went nation wide.

We sat outside on a beautiful fall day, the service was incredible, the food was delicious; these are the reasons this is one of our family’s favorite places to meet for a casual yet always delicious and fun meal.

Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is cozy and usually busy; we sit outside so our 3 & 5 year old family members aren’t a distraction to others who might not be there for that type of entertainment.

For over 15 years this has been our friendly hang out on Friday nights after a long week. Still love the food,drink and atmosphere.

Overall, the experience was great and I would come here again. It has great food and very friendly staff. The people I went with thought it was overpriced, so I docked one star.

The bacon wrapped shrimp were cooked to perfection. We just wish there were more of them!
The steak nachos were very tasty but didn’t have a lot of steak. They also only come with a small scoop of guac and sour cream. For the amount of nachos you get, it would be nice to have a little bit more toppings.

This may be a geographical anomaly. See, where I’m from in southern AL/MS, every Mexican restaurant brings you complimentary chips and salsa as soon as you sit down. Not Agave Azul in Gresham, OR. We did get a small refried bean taco in its stead and when I asked for chips and salsa, we found out later it was $3.50 each. Food wasn’t great. Service was horrible, and I hate to say that because our main waitress was nice. She barely checked on our table of 10 while checking on the table for 2 next to us every time she walked by. The first girl that seated us and assisted our waitress had the same personality as the free bean taco. Not a good experience overall. Won’t be back, even if I didn’t live 2600 miles away.

I have been coming here for a few months now and I am always satisfied with every aspect of this restaurant. Staff is super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Their food is excellent along with their specialty drinks! I also love to sit out on the patio on summer nights as their patio is pet friendly. 10/10 would recommend if ever in the area!
