This restaurant always delivers the most incredible food, service, and care. It's a favorite for those special events. We always make incredible memories here and the staff, and chefs, contribute to the experience. If you've never been, you simply have to go. They always do a phenomenal job taking care of our large parties with skill and professionalism.

Update: the owner response below asked me reach out, which I did twice, with no response. I went ahead and gave them another shot, and again, pretty empty place, very long wait from sitting down to seeing a waiter. Food was worse this time around. I dont recommend this place.

Original review:
I want to like this place a little more than I do. The food is fine. The service is disappointing. Very long wait for a drink in a nearly empty restaurant earlyish on a Saturday. Lots of staff standing around chit chatting while we waited for a server to come by. She did finally, and was weirdly performative. One of the clams didn't open in the order of clams and she asked if we were going to eat it...had to let her know you shouldn't eat them if they don't open up, which is neither here nor there but mildly amusing. In the end the food was fine, an app, 2 cocktails, 2 pastas and 2 glasses of wine was 115.00, which is not terrible but no crazy value. In general just didn't get the service experience I hoped for (classic case of people across the aisle with a different server coming after us, getting food and drinks before us, and leaving before us). With a better server would give this place a 4/5.

I came here with a party of 5. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was solid. Unfortunately the restaurant is small and the seating arrangement was brutal. Nobody at our table could converse because the set up only has big parties side by side in the back. Bartended for 14 years in my 20's, I'd say the set up isn't great. The experience in that sense was poor why the 1 star atmosphere. The food was great though.

I never leave bad reviews but feel like I should warn others. The service we had was wonderful but for the price of the plates, that food was just not good. The pasta tasted like the boxed past you get at the dollar store and all the seafood in my dish was tough and flavorless. I absolutely love scallops, never had one I didnt enjoy until this restaurant. My husband got a different dish and the peppers were barely cooked and everything was very soupy with not a good flavor. We were very disappointed, definitely not worth $25-$30 a plate.

Honestly, we had a really nice evening with friends and for once didn’t walk away from a dinner feeling disappointed. Our table was nice and comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and un rushed. The server was friendly and accommodating, not over bearing. Food delicious. We had 2 beautiful dinners and a couple glasses of wine and the price was reasonable. We will be back.

For the price of a meal, I think it should at least include a salad, and while the manicotti is lovely, the fried green beans are NOT

Good balance of location, price, roomsize. Priced accordingly with an equal decent staff and atmosphere.

Dining was a disaster. We were celebrating a birthday and there were 7 of us. We brought our own gluten free cake and the hostess asked if she could keep the cake in the fridge. Our dinner was basic. Nothing special as in flavor or plating and the price was high. We received our bill for 2 people and it was $119.00. No wine or beer just 2 plates of pasta. We noticed we were charged $20.00 to keep the gluten free cake in the fridge and a mandatory 20% gratuity. The owner and or manager walking around with a black mask on was loud and rude. I will not go back.

The worst service I have ever seen. I was waiting for at least an hour, and I was seeing people being served before me even when they got there 30 minutes after me. When the food finally arrived it was subpar and definitely not worth the wait. I ordered tiger prawns and I did not get them. Instead I got regular shrimp.

Cute restaurant in a cute downtown Gresham area. I was a big fan of their $15 build your own lunch special. It looked small when it came out but was surprisingly satisfying.

I got the penne Alfredo with sausage and mushroom. It was so delightful and the garlic bread was so good for no reason. All tables have craft paper and crayons for you to unleash your inner artist/child.

Waitress rarely checked in on us and didn’t refill our waters until we finished eating but let us stay for as long as we wanted (Thursday afternoon) so it’s ok.

Would be happy to come back! And free parking downtown? Say less.
