I have eaten at ESan Thai before at other locations and LOVED it, this was my first time at this one. I have a shellfish allergy and cannot do oyster sauce, but I know the potstickers and Yakisoba and a couple others are in fact safe for me. The lady I let know about my allergy told me “this is Asian food… EVERYTHING has oyster sauce…” I proceeded to tell her the potstickers are generally safe and Yakisoba just with soy sauce, noodles and veggies. She repeated herself I am strictly down to only Tom Yum soup and that’s all. Not even grilled chicken??? When all other locations have so much variety for me and “try” for their customers. She didn’t even want to try or see how she could accommodate. They claim they are vegan friendly, keto friendly, and even some gluten free options…? I say not… especially vegan (which is what my meal would have been “considered”). Was so disappointed…

This food cart is a hidden gem. The prices are very reasonable and the crab puffs are amazing! They actually have crab and veggies inside instead of just cream cheese. Highly recommend this food cart food is great! Will be back with my family.

It's a food cart, it's outside but there's a large building if you want to eat inside but...
None of this matters. Why? It's some badass food, that's why and it's $10 for a heaping helping (a tiny bit more for beef or shrimp).
Hours are 11 M to 8 pm and it's worth the drive.
I recommend #33 Pad Gratiem Prik Thai with chicken but it's all good.

Literally the only food cart we come to at the burnside food trucks. We would be sad if they ever left. #62 Pad See Ew Chicken is the go to, big portion. Get an order of Chicken Satay as well.
