Sorry have to change my review. I have no idea how they train host and hostess but just had a hostess tell us the big booth, only booth, is only available for large groups. Did that to another party. Then some guy comes in by himself and he gets seated there. I would hope it wasn't due to I being with a Hispanic or that the other party also has a person of color, and the single person was Caucasian. The hostess, with a nose ring hate those for food handlers, never apologizes or anything just walks around with this attitude she knows all. Somewhere it has been lost you don't just seat people, you are to greet them, then ask where would you like to sit. You are not a person giving orders you are to make the customer happy. Where did customer service go?

Spent the night in Gresham. Elmers was right next to our hotel. We have Elmers in CDA, Idaho where were from didn't expect anything too great. The service was amazing. Our server was Tara, the food was great. Best tomato soup I've ever had, gravy on my steak and potatoes was delicious. It seems like this place takes pride in their atmosphere, service and food. Everything tastes homemade not out of a package. Great job guys. Going back from breakfast tomorrow.

For good old American food, as well as consistency between locations, this place is among my favorites!

I love this location, it's got everything. I like to go on Wednesdays around noon: they serve breakfast all day and the restaurant is usually quiet and the service is great.

The most foolish policy I have ever encountered. They do not allow “to go”orders. What kind of establishment refuses to cook food, put it in a box, and make easy money? Even offered to purchase “to go” in person. What an archaic nonsensical policy. Went to Nanas instead who greeted me on the phone with kindness, excellent customer service, and more than willing to take a phone order. That’s how business is done. Thank you Nana. Elmers, you won’t be seeing my family and I in anymore.
My favorite place i had ever eat in I came agian from Egypt to eat from elmer’s gresham branch 😍😍

Always a favorite of mine. Great food selection that most breakfast restaurants don't have. Been a long time since I have been to Elmer's only because we don't have one in central Oregon. The food is as good as I remember it.

It's always a favorite for me. I usually have breakfast, but this time, I tried a lunch soup and 1/2 sandwich, and it was so delicious. Would get it again!
