This was our first time eating at Black Bear. We took my mom out for her birthday dinner and the place was cute inside with the bear decorations. The server was nice and the food was great my only complaint is when I was finished with my meal I noticed a small hair in the little bits of fries. I’m not gonna get too upset about it because I don’t know if it was mine or the employees and by that time I was done eating but other than that it was fine and my family enjoyed their food too

First off my wife just got teeth pulled. She called all around town to find the soup she wanted we get here and that’s not the soup they’re serving after calling .
I love this restaurant I am the one that request coming here all the time this time it wasn’t a Five star. Cornbread was cold. Onion rings were burnt crisp chicken, Fried steak was awesome

This is one of the coziest, cleanest, friendliest diners I've ever been to! The food is fresh and the Bear Claws are really good, worth the price and you can easily take things to go! I love having leftovers so I don't mind the large diner portions. We were even greeted at the door! My only note: I think they should create a special seasoning for the potato items like the hashbrowns, which were a little plain. Everything else is perfect!

We try to find a Black Bear Diner when we travel. We happened to find this one on our last vacation. It didnt disappoint. The service was great, the food was fantastic. We even took a small pie to go. It is a family friendly, calm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I'm an American but have lived in Germany for 40 years. This meal was a traditional American style meatloaf and gravy with the taste of home style. It was very good.

Normally I order tri tip rare. Always great. Tonight all you can eat fish, looked like big pieces, no meat, crunchy batter like eating dust & sand. Choke, choke more water please. Won't do that again. No wonder on Friday 5pm only 6 total folks inside. Friends meatloaf looked excellent. Prime rib $29.95 ?? Seems like I want a test piece first. I paid with card and I tipped an amount 18%.felt like a gun to my head as she looked overhead, so the stars got da big bang review #-9.

Stopted there after a long day, lunch time but I had breakfast, pancakes and bacon, it was great. The same could be said about the server, friendly and efficient.
