Black Bear Diner Gresham

My wife and I had dropped in for date night for the first time in a while and we were blessed to have Kamile as our server and let me tell you, she was absolutely AMAZING!!! Her service was world class, her personality was outstanding and just her overall performance is the epitome of what service should be and Black Bear should be proud to have her on the floor representing them. The food was great just like we remember, restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was very cool and relaxing. Not everyone has the same experiences but I will say, Ours was great and we will for sure be coming back and more then likely asking for Kamile as our server.

Food was decent for the price. Nothing to rave about. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

This Black Bear is our favorite go to restaurant before or after shopping in Gresham. The food is always good, the price is reasonable compared to similar restaurants AND we love the servers. We are recognized as we come in the door. We love all the servers. Andrea, Jen, Christy, Roman are names and faces we know. The others are friendly also

Great food and service was awesome felt like home

Our extended family had a wonderful visit on Sunday! They accommodated our large family at a moments notice and did it with a smile. Andrea was an amazing server that met all of our needs efficiently. The manager, Angie, visited the table and was both friendly and fun. The food was delicious and the service was great! We will be back!!

I counted 11 employees behind the service bar, doing next to nothing. One of them was enjoying a redbull though. We were being ignored for service while waiting to order. We have been to this location many times. The service continues to decline. There are a couple of great servers! This used to be a great restaurant in its beginning. Now I’m looking to go elsewhere.

We really appreciated the friendly, attentive, relaxed and thorough service from our waitress, Jamie. We remember her from a previous experience at Black Bear and she was the same then.
