this used to bea Great restaurant, but lately, bad service, bad management. my Mom worked for Don Eklund for years. the current manager, Linda, who has worked with my Mom, years ago, treated her like a stranger trying to get a free meal when my Mom sent back a greasy patty melt. We were going to the front register from the bar so my Mom could pay her bill (minus the sandwich)the bar tender yelled across the bar that we had not payed. She hustled after us and we tried to explain she would not listen. we were being treated as a dine and dash. the the bar tender wanted to out my meal on my Mom's bill, but I had already paid. SMH. I work too hard for my money to be treated like that. I have myself have worked at Heidis and have been going there since I was a small child. Well, that chapter is closed. There are so many places to choose from, customer service must be number one. The customer must be number one.
Have had many meals here and from here, I haven't had a bad experience. Service is friendly and attentive. I've had the Stroganoff, stuffed cabbage, chicken fried steak, and crepes... all were good.
