I have literally never given a bad review about food before, but what I got here was terrible and cost $13 (plus $3 tip). The half Turkey sandwich was incredibly small, like a 1.5” wide wedge of focaccia, and the bread was underbaked, so it was mushy. The hungarian mushroom soup didn’t taste like anything— like there was no salt added. If I could have asked for a refund, I would have.

Cute little spot, quite a few gluten free options, we got a chai tea, a mocha, and an order of biscuits and gravy, and some bakery goods togo. Drinks were piping hot, and the gravy was pretty perfect. Will definitely be coming back!

I visited Hope's several times over the past year. They have good coffee, gluten free pastries, great breakfast biscuits. However , if you go when they are busy or slow they are so slow. There three people working behind tbe counter so busy talking about Christianity and their prayers, all good. Just a bit much.. slowest customer service EVER.not a friendly environment.

1). The baked goods and breakfast menu are absolutely delicious at excellent prices. Do not go to Starbucks—go to Hopes Cafe. The food is homemade with love.
The ambience is cozy, like visiting a close friend, going back home, or going to grandma’s house,

A friend and I stopped by for breakfast, took a while before we got our orders, which neither of us could eat, biscuits dryer than popcorn. Won't be going back. I Hope you survive of you eat there. What a waste of money.

Good coffee and food offered here in a little bit of a hidden cafe off of East Burnside St. It's worth stopping in and seeing if it's your jam.
everything was super freshly made- you can see the gal making things fresh behind the counter. i am gluten free & was excited to have some GF pancakes. our food was great.
my chai tea was not great, but i love a spicy chai! saw some concerning reviews about anti LGBT, the cafe itself didn’t give off those vibes. the space itself was fine, and cute.
Great staff, good environment, and delicious food!

Hope's cafe is a cozy space where you'll be welcomed by friendly faces, and even Hope herself. I always get a vanilla latte. It's flavored with real vanilla beans and is absolutely delicious. Hope herself is an absolute gem, a local who has contributed to and lived in this community for a very long time. I will be stopping in as often as possible to support her and this Gresham treasure.
