I love taking my significant other here. Whether it's her birthday or our anniversary, the setting is absolutely perfect, for just about any occasion. The staff that works here are absolute. If you look up the definition of perfection in the webster dictionary, you would see a picture of the La Carreta waiting staff. The food is exceptional and in 5 years coming here i have never had a bad experience nor left unsatisfied. My wife had the fajitas, and I had the tostada deluxe. My wife tried the spicy margarita and I had the blue mar margarita. Exceptional all of it. If you have never been here, I highly recommend it and I will definitely be returning.

The chilli relleno that I ordered was unrecognizable, what I was served was essentially an omelette with a pepper in it with beans and and rice on the sides. Not a suffer pepper that has been fried with sauce.

This was some of the most bland, disappointing food I’ve ever had. I’m originally from the East Coast, and let me just say—this place wouldn’t last a week there.
The service? Awful. The waiter came over once at the beginning to take my drink order, then disappeared for 40 minutes. No check-ins, no refills, nothing. I was just left sitting there.
The only halfway decent thing? The salsa. That’s it.
Do yourself a favor—DO NOT eat here. Yuck. Bland. The End.
Customer service is horrible. I ordered a sizzling fajita plate for them to just bring it out to me in a regular plate while the other person in my group was brought out the same sizzling fajita plate I ordered but they where brought out on a hot plate sizzling just like the picture. When I brought it up them they continued to argue with me saying that’s how they do it if I ask for no onions.
Mind you I have been supporting this place for years ordering the same sizzling fajita plate the same way every time and after the service today I will never be back. Nor will anyone in my family after being treated this way

Just moved to the area. Called in a To go order. Live 6 minutes away and it was ready by the time I got there and amazing Mexican food. There's a place I used to go in longview super good and this is just as good! Even chips and salsa were great!
