Legacy Coffee Company is a wonderful place to eat and have a good time. My family and I frequent this place regularly and they have a wonderful atmosphere and setting. They are super supportive of LGBTQIA+, they have nerdy games, and they have plenty of seating to just hang out and enjoy your food and coffee, just as one should when at a coffee shop.

We love Legacy coffee. The service is always great. Their coffee and pastries hit the spot. It's a chill spot to spend some time with great atmosphere.
Kid-friendliness: They have a designated kid play area that my toddler loves. It's a great place to have playdates.

Tried this place out for the first time and am pretty pleased! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Very kind barista who answered all my questions and didn't act like I was holding them up either.
Was very excited to see all vegan pastry options and opted for a gluten free pumpkin scone. Sadly really did not like the scone despite them talking it up as being good. Went back and bought another pastry, but would have been nice to get a refund or something since it was $5.50 + tip.
Am willing to come back again if I'm in the area, but will probably stick to just drinks.

Such a warm and cozy spot! The chai was okay, I prefer more traditional chai’s over sweet ones. They don’t charge for milk alternatives which is another plus. Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the selection of board games they have out too:)

My opinions:
I was really glad to see a new downtown gresham coffee shop alternative. I've been here twice since they opened their gresham location. The first time was awesome! They have a lot of comfortable seating as well as tables for those that like a solid work area or are eating food. The space is really large, which is great because there is nothing worse than going for a coffee and having nowhere to sit. The staff are AWESOME, and super friendly, and are clearly well trained in their art. The coffee was well made and tasted good.
The second time that I stopped by wasn't as awesome as the first due to a few things I hadn't noticed the first time. I had missed the fact that they have an area with kids' toys, books, etc., and when I looked on their website, they call it their "dedicated kids area." Cool, right? Maybe for some, but maybe not for others? On this occasion, there were several families with kids present (probably 6 or 7 kids) The parents were sitting at one table not in the kids area (not really watching their kids), while the kids were running between the parents' table and the kids' area doing what kids do. It was REALLY LOUD. I moved tables twice, trying to avoid the toys flying across the floor and landing under my table and other kids' type chaos. I tried a third move to the other end of the shop; unfortunately there was an individual sleeping on one of the couches at the other end of the coffee shop who smelled like they hadn't bathed in a few months (no judgment, just stating fact). Several other customers had vacated this area for what I assume were reasons similar to my own. This made it really hard to find a spot to enjoy my coffee and get my work done, so I ended up leaving.
To be clear, I realize I'm not the only person in the shop, and we all have to be patient and "live and let live", and that everyone has the right to enjoy the shop.
All in all a great shop, just be aware that it may not always be the type of shop to expect to be able to get work or homework done on your laptop, or relax if you need an average coffee shop environment (ie: moderate conversational noise and pleasant smells.)
I will definitely be back, just with managed expectations, and probably not as often.

Excellent coffee shop! The owner and their delightful staff truly care about coffee whether you are looking for a good roast or a decadent sweet treat. Their seating area is totally welcoming and busy but never cramped. Great place to meet up with friends!
Kid-friendliness: Excellent play area at the back of the shop!

Absolutely love this place. Such an expansive, comfortable space. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later on Sundays so I could go more often!
