This is our local pub and the default place to grab drinks and dinner after a long week. There's always a great selection of local beers on draft, and the seasonal cocktails are a favorite. I often order the Blue Bayou salad, the Portland dip sandwich, or the Captain Neon burger, always with tots. Sadly the Scooby Snacks are no longer available here, so we'll occasionally travel to McMenamins locations further afield for those.
The staff are always friendly and helpful. If I have one criticism, it's that they often seem understaffed here, with one server to wait all the tables and tend bar. But ultimately it doesn't matter, I'll be going here until I die.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager refused to take my $100 bill. I asked them if they had a counterfeit pen ( $5 on Amazon) . They told me no. Manager said “ we have signs posted at every entrance”. BTW, the sign is a photocopy of an old $100 bill with very small type. I Did NOT see it, most people wouldn’t. I asked if they verbally would let people know before ordering food and they stated they would not. What? Why? The manager made me leave my teenage daughter alone at the table to “ go get change somewhere else”. I had to drive across the street to a crowded Safeway to make change for the staff of a LARGE CHAIN RESTAURANT WITH HOTELS AND RESORTS ALL OVER OREGON. AGAIN , a counterfeit pen is $5 ON AMAZON. . My wine pour was also super short ….and the RC was flat and syrupy. The waitress asked my daughter “ to taste it because it didn’t look right” WHAT?! I highly recommend never going. Ever. Gross .

The Cheeseburger Sliders & Tuna Sliders Are My Go To! So Good!

If you are not going to communicate with the other staff don't have the seat yourself sign out. My family and I waited around for 15 minutes and not once did anyone say anything to us. I said something on my way out and I got ohh I thought the other person was helping you excuse. The other person was helping the other side of the restaurant. Its sad when other tables are like why is nobody helping you. Even the cook was looking at me going yeah man I have no idea why they are ignoring you. I tried to flag both people down and they purposely looked at the celling. We wont be back to this location and that actually sucks because it is super local to my house.

Dude, I literally waited 20 minutes for a burger(for myself) and fish and chips(for my mom) just for both us to get cold fries and an undercooked burger. My mom asked for an extra lemon to go with her fish and chips and the server took like 5 minutes to grab it for some reason ? There was literally only 4 other booths being occupied. 10/10 don’t recommend lol like what? If you want cold fries and ground beef still pink, this is the place for you though. 😂 $21 for 2 tiny pieces of fish and barely half a bowl fries btw. The soup was pretty good tho according to my mom, can’t lie.

The people that work here are great but I found the menu lacking.
A Union Burger would be great, no?
You know, one that has the ingredients each taken care of; that way every part of the burger feels and taste great.

Unions make our Union better. Mmm and a side of freedom fries.

This used to be a great local option with consistently good food at a decent price but now quality has dropped and prices have shot up. $19 for a 3/10 burger is outrageous.

Came in on a Friday evening, waited by the front door for about five minutes before being seated when there were 6 empty booths available. After sitting at our table without waters being brought out for ten minutes we were told wait time for food would be 45 minutes. We should have been told at the door about the long wait time by the hostess and been asked if we wanted drinks when we were seated. Mcmenamins as a company has been trending downward for years now.

The food tasted great. Good server too. But it took for ever for the food to arrive. We tried to get a lunch in before a meeting. After over a half hour of waiting it still had t arrived. We were one of maybe three tables occupied in the entire place. There were two guys in the kitchen area. One was cooking the orders, slowly, while the other spent about a half hour making a bunch of ranch dressing in a bowl. Haha. Almost like a Saturday night live sketch. My wife is in the food service industry. She kept saying “wow look at those guys. I’ve never seen someone move so slow in a kitchen. If these guys were my kitchen staff I’d fire them!”
