We love Lebanese food and Nicholas restaurant did not disappoint. Nice friendly greeting, good service and excellent minced lamb over hummus and shawarma plate. Tender meat with flavorful rice and hummus. Mango lassi is very good as well and like the touch with the bread and spiced dipping oil.Recommend and will return

My husband and I celebrated our 22 year anniversary at Edgefield in Tualatin and wanted to find a restaurant we would both enjoy. I’m a vegan so sometimes it’s tricky ? so glad we found Nicholas in Gresham which was only 12 minutes from Edgefield. We both loved the food and would highly recommend.

Stopped by for a late lunch in early April. Very clean and modern restaurant on a quite street with many different restaurants around. Plenty of free parkings. Servers are attentive with big smile.I loved the bread with olive oil that they served me as an appetizer. I ordered Almaza beer, the Lebanese Pilsner beer, Lentil soup and shawarma plate as main dish.

Oh my god, top marks. The food, the service, the atmosphere are all stellar. Every single item was super flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Even the Turkish coffee with a hint of cardamom was so good. I highly recommend this gem of a restaraunt.Dietary restrictions: There were some vegitarian and gluten free options.

They have redecorated, and it adds an element of elegance. Perfect place for a date or celebration. They also have modified the menu but still have delicious meals. Definitely try the lamb if you have a chance. Their hummus is another favorite of mine. If you happen to be in the area.

Here's what I did not appreciate: I'm ordering take out and sit at the bar to order a drink while I wait. A server takes my order, I pay with a card, and I'm expected to leave a 20% tip or more at the beginning! No other options! What the heck is that!? All the server did was punch in my order. Didn't give me a water, didn't make my drink, didn't offer me anything while I waited and didn't bring out my order. The young gal at the bar did, so why should that other server get a 20% tip!? I know things have changed since COVID but don't expect your customers to automatically give 20% tip or more up front! I waited tables in 4 different states. In Chicago I made $3.90 an hour and I had to bust my *** to earn a tip! Please change that. Love your food but that whole bit turned me off! I'm a very generous tipper because I used to wait tables and that server didn't earn an automatic 20% tip. I told the bartender that. I gave her $2.00 cash because that's all I had, but asked her to have the server with the neck tattoo to transfer that tip to her. She did all the work for my take out order. I'll return because I love the food, but next time that happens I'll be asking to speak with the manager onsite. That whole COVID bit where they put the card machine right in front of you and give no other options...I can understand a party of 5-10 plus peep but it was just me!

I was extremely disappointed to find the Gresham location very unprofessional. From the Persian hostess saying what to me several times when I walked in to the doughy pira bread, they served me a salad with hair in it. The only thing done well were the fries and rice. The kabobs had a different sauce then usually served. Disappointed ?
