Original Roadhouse Grill

Hate to sound like such a Karen but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. Best part of the trip was showing up.
We were seated very quickly. Had our drink and appetizer order down and came back with drinks. Later came with appetizers. This is where it starts to go down hill. We didn’t get any rolls so I asked for some and they came a time later. We ordered or main course which was quick and easy all I asked for to make it somewhat difficult is no sour cream in my potatoes.

When our food arrived my ribs where cold normally I don’t like to be the only one with a problem so I asked the person I was with to also feel the meat
Instantly she said it was cold.
Granted I asked her to feel it but now my food had been touched by her and I asked them to replace it since it was cold.

Five minutes later it came back not cold but the same exact plate. I don’t know who all touched it or what but they brought back the same exact rack of ribs.

When I asked them if this was modern practice they decided to let me know that all of the meat is cooked cold to begin with like I don’t know that the meat didn’t just show up cooked like magic.

So I generously asked for the check and box and they saw all my foot sitting and asked what the problem was so I told them. And instead of coming back with my check so I can pay and take the food home to my dogs. They decided they would take the food off the bill and not let me take the food home.
I mentioned many times I just wanted the check and boxes and they are the ones who pressed the issued. I never said I wanted a refund or for them to take my food.

I will not be going back.

Saturday night blonde bartender had great service but the other one behind the bar with black hair had very bad customer service. I asked for ranch she said she was gone bring it never did I thought she was until I waited for 20 minutes until I asked the other bartender with blonde hair. Also when I wanted to be seat it she never helped. She is raciest I will never go back there ever again. I just left at 6 23 pm 6/7/2025. Really appreciate it only steak house in Gresham

Quite the little gem of a place! The food was delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly! We will definitely come back! You should give it a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed

Ohh yes love this place . I eat the bar to enjoy the view . There's Texas egg rolls you can make a meal out of . Peanuts for added road House touch and I do trip tip and sweet potatoes and always ... Well most always can't eat it all . People always seem happy . Waitresses and bartenders are happy and take care of customers . Three generations tequila and grande marnya .. of course it's spelled wrong I'm an American and I think it's French but any ways makes a great margarita ! If any body complains about anything on the bar side of the place then something's wrong with the complantant !! I'll read reviews just to see why they don't have five stars . Always fun to read what the winer's say . went here again recently , started to notice places getting run down . table surfaces are sticky the coating is decomposing from the harsh cleaners . felt gross on my arms . waant really impressed with the prime rib . the chefs or cooks really arent into making anything exciting . gresham could use a famouse daves or a really good smoke house or steak joint . guess its my turn to complaign and yes the rolls where stale or over cooked

DO NOT BUY ANY E-GIFT CARDS FROM THIS RESTAURANT!
I went online on Sunday to send an electronic gift card to my uncle for his birthday. The notice that I received said that my GC request was under review. I called the restaurant, and they said that the corporate office has to review and add the funds, and they are closed on the weekend. I did not hear anything back yesterday (Monday). Then, this afternoon (Tuesday), I received an email stating that my request was denied because it was determined fraudulent. Are you kidding me? I was simply trying to buy an e-gift card for Uncle. Now, I am being accused of fraud? What an insult! I will definitely be passing this info on to my uncle to suggest finding another restaurant to celebrate special occasions...

No problems at all. Everything went smoothly. Lively waitstaff. Consistently good food. A great night out with the wifey started here. Thanks.

The steak was meh. Husband said his was mediocre and mine was full of gristle so I only ate half of it before grossing out. I had planned on taking it home but the server took away my plate before I could put it in my husband’s box. It was interesting to me that he didn’t question that I only half of a steak.

Fun place where they want you to throw peanut shells on the floor. Great burgers and their famous baked sweet potato is delish.

It was my daughter birthday meal we wanted to try something different and new it was good steak was juicy loaded garlic potatoes and the honey butter and roll melt In your mouth the dessert was good tried all 3 the only thing was kinda expensive but I will go again

Everything was great except the table was sticky.. Also don't do the peanut thing like the old days, pretty sure COVID eliminated that. My steak was cooked to my liking and we was very tender.
