Came here with a group of girls and there was plenty of peace and space for a nice cup of coffee and conversations! I got the pumpkin spice latte and FINALLY a coffee drink that actually taste like pumpkin/autumn spices! The atmosphere is wonderful and barista was super sweet! Unfortunately if you’re coming Sunday afternoon, it is likely they’re out of food. Overall, very cute interior design and it’s very spacious!

The shop is clean and well lit. It’s attached to the church and is more suited for small groups as the tables mostly only seat two people. The drip coffee was a dark roast (similar to pikes place taste). I didn’t try a pastry but they are huge and look good in the case. My Caramel Latte was well balanced and enjoyable.

To tell the truth, I avoided Pause because I was weary of the church affiliation. This was poor judgment on my part. Cool place, cool people, good service, and great coffee and food. Some gluten-free.

I am obsessed with Pause Coffee Lab. This is my favorite coffee shop in the Portland area. They serve the best caramel latte I’ve ever had! Not to mention I crave their toasts, specifically The Fancy Pig with ricotta, prosciutto, arugula, and peach chili jam. I also thoroughly enjoy their seasonal drink specials. The shop has a lovely vibe that is perfect to work or study in. I highly recommend checking it out!!

My daughter and I were there on August 9, 2025. She had the matchcolada(?) and I had a hazelnut latte. Both were really good. The baristas were great, the shop was really nice, and the music was great, too.

The space is overall beautiful. However I ordered the matcha latte and it had no flavor. I asked for them to add more matcha powder and it still wasn’t good at all :(
Tried the vanilla rose latte yesterday, so yummy! The aesthetic of the place is perfect.

Awesome place! Fantastic coffee. The staff are great, Will and Kenzie in particular are both super cool people. But there's a church next door so if you come on Sundays it'll be very busy and they play Christian music over the speakers.

This little gem is a laid back little Cafe with amazing food. I didn't expect how good the food was. The cold brew with pumpkin cold foam and a touch of vanilla was so yummy. This is a great place to hang out and chat with a friend, or read a book on tour own.
