The food is excellent. I will be coming back. It’s in the middle of a pottery yard which gives the venue nice atmosphere. Also they have flan. This restaurant reinforced to me how much excellent dining there is to be had along the 82nd street corridor. And it’s very reasonably priced. My friend takes her grandma to Elmers, but after we ate here, dipping the papa fritas in the pepper sauce she said, “I think my grandma would like this place. So would my mom. I think we’ll come here again soon.” You could watch 50 kitten rescue videos and you will still not equal that warm glow of hospitality and welcome that one experiences here when you cross the threshold.

"Authentic Peruvian food... if it were prepared on another planet. The vegetables look like heirlooms, the rice swims in oil, and the chicha has the charm of a cheap packet of powder. Plus, the atmosphere is quite a challenge: the place smells terrible and the heat is unbearable. A truly 'unforgettable' experience."

I wouldn't recommend for delivery. I've had good experiences with dining in. But both times I had their food delivered the chicken was very dry and didn't include any sauces.
*The ketchup in picture was added at home
The workers here were SO SWEET!! I went here with my boyfriend right before closing and they were so kind despite the late time. We felt so cared for and the food was delicious. I got the Seco De Cordero meal and would highly recommend. The lamb was so tender it just fell apart. As I left, the owner chased after me just to give me a to-go bag so that I didn’t have to carry it out. This is definitely a go-to spot for Peruvian food

What an incredible place! Truly Peruvian. I’ve been looking for some good Aji Rocoto and theirs tasted just like it did in Peru! I got the Calamari and man, the ceviche salad is amazing!

This is the most authentic Peruvian food I have ever had outside of Peru. Very down-to-earth and absolutely delicious. The owner was very sweet and did everything to make us feel comfortable. Don't be fooled by the outside looks of this restaurant, this is a hidden gem!

We have been coming to El Inka for about 15 years, since they were located in Gresham. They have since moved to SE Division. Their Pollo El Inka (Chicken of the Inkas?) is amazing, i would recommend it anytime. Their yellow sauce and fries also taste delicious. This is a great and authentic Peruvian restaurant. We love it!

The worst service of all, I was served by a person who discriminated against us, he does not accept criticism of his food or the atmosphere much less, he leaves a lot to be desired. A Peruvian always wants to see a venue that represents his country emerge in another. Regrettable.

Does not accept criticismThe same owner attended to us and her service was terrible.
?smells so good opening restaurant door? owners kind, bilingual? dog-friendly?website (theirs vs. pre-order vs. google photos) have all different prices. Please edit/delete old menus/prices. An alfajor said $2.50 then a year ago $3.50 so I ordered it over the phone and it ended up costing $5.00 for one alfajor. Very disappointed in that undisclosed expensive price. Definitely not worth $5.
