I like to consider myself a pretty patient customer, especially during such trying times. However, I will never return to Schmizza Public House. So first off, I sit down, order drinks, then when the waitress comes back to take my order let's me know they're out of pizza and chicken. What kind of pizza place runs out of pizza in the middle of the day?? But, I digress, I wasn't there for pizza or chicken, so I continued. I was just looking for a quick bite for myself and my two year old and ordered the nachos for us to share. We waited nearly 40 minutes before our food came and the restaurant wasn't busy, in fact only two other tables were being utilized. Now, I get that nachos are not the restaurants speciality, but after waiting so long I sure wasn't expecting a plate full of burnt chips and cheese, with other toppings on the side. While we were eating, a young family walked in. The waitress definitely knew the girl, because they struck up a conversation at the bar. No biggie. Buy after eating what we could, cleaning up after my toddler (I know he's messy and never expect wait staff to clean up after him), we sat and waited... and waited.... and waited. The waitress was very busy with her friend. Finally, I walked over to the bar with my card and I said I was ready to leave. When she came back with my receipt, she said "so sorry, I guess I kinda spaced out." So overall, my "quick bite" lasted about 90 minutes, and we couldn't even eat most of the burnt chips and cheese. My toddler did love the bowl olives though.

They had about 8 tables with people sitting at them and 4 workers including the cook. It took 45 minutes to order a drink and another 30 to get our drinks delivered. Food was ok at best but tator tots were very cold. Our waitress was new on her third day and ran around trying her best. No bartender so she had to wait until another waitress would help with her drink orders. We will never go back. I have no sympathy for these owners because they weren't there helping.

40 minute wait at 6:00 Friday night to order, and then a long wait for drinks and food. 1 cook put out a lot of food. Our waitress was new to the job but did great and hustled the whole time. No bartender, but this was normal staffing pre covid. Since opening, scheduling is always very low so employees are left to scramble doing multiple jobs. All restaurants are hurting for staff, but we will find somewhere else to support.

This place is amazing. Very friendly staff and an amazing happy hour. 3-6 daily and all day Sunday. Food was amazing and big portions.

The people here were kind enough to open for my grandsons second birthday even though the air conditioning wasn't working in the kitchen. They were very accommodating and friendly and saved my grandson's birthday from the 110+ degree heat. The pizza was excellent and they provided us with more than enough. Will definitely be coming back here. Thanks for your help Theodore ?

We’ve only had takeout and the pizza is amazing! I was very pleasantly surprised. The crust is crunchy but soft. All the ingredients are fresh.

Been here a few times for their Happy Hour Menu. It's FABULOUS!$3 for all Happy Hour menu items and they have lots! I've had the Brussels Sprouts, Taco's, and Green Beans. All are delicious! Plus their patio is shaded and service has always been great! If you haven't checked it out....it's a must do!

Horrible service. 100% agree with other negative reviews. Went for happy hour and sat outside and only one other table was occupied. Placed our order and food and drink came out at a decent time. The outside started to fill up and all chaos ensued. We asked about four times for water. The table across from us even asked for water for us and we never received it. Our server said she'd be back by to take more drink requests and never came back. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to what server was helping what table and they seemed confused about who had ordered and who hadn't. When she finally did come back almost 30 minutes later we expressed our frustration politely and asked for the bill. She didn't offer an apology or explanation. Getting our bill sadly was the quickest thing to happen. This place seems to be mismanaged and the staff is severely untrained. Sadly will not be back- lots of other great places to grab a beer and food in Gresham.

My dad and I just left without eating. One guy walking around seating everyone and giving them drinks then that was it. He sat us in the aisle ( table had a number 30 on it) then sat 4 other tables. Final straw for us was him seating a party of two taking them two beers and taking their order. It is obvious this establishment does not want business.

Tonight we went into Pizza Schmizza for our first time. First place we've been to since pandemic started. Best pizza we've had in awhile. Staff was short handed, but the two did amazing balancing it all. Codos for handling dinner night rush and not letting on how overwhelming that may have felt. The honey lavender lemon drops were delicious! We will diffently be back!!

Very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.... The beer selection isn't that impressive if you are looking for actually craft beers. The half meatball sandwich that I was so looking forward to was awful, it had huge chunks of ice cold mozzarella on top of lukewarm marinara sauce and meatballs. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to send the food back as we had already been there over an hour and and needed to get back in the road... And we weren't entirely confident with the idea of sending it back when what was served to us the first time was so dismal.

So now at Pizza Schmizza, you get the amount of toppings of a medium pizza for an Extra large dough. The thickest crust ever. So disappointed. There was at least 2 inches of crust vefoee the toppings. Technically, half of the slide of pizza was just dough.

we have been here several times because it is a hard place to not like. it has been hit and miss until probably the last year and the new/old guy took over and it became a pretty much must go place in Gresham. Great bar menu, excellent tap list and good food and good service. Everytown needs a place like this!

This was more like sitting inside a drab dark casino. The spacing of tables for customers worked out well but this restaurant just has no vibe at all. When we first got there music was playing but it cut out a few times while we were eating our dinner. We ordered pizza, tots, and salad. Our server was excellent and checked on us several times. She had great energy and was so helpful. The food was nothing special. The pizza was good but it wasn't hot. The tots were barely warm. The price for the pizza can't be justified - especially to charge $23 for a cheese pizza and then $3 for each additional topping. Luckily for us this wasn't a special event or a first date. I'm glad we didn't invite friends or family. This restaurant has no atmosphere at all. They should make an effort to improve it.
