vibes are great and service was good. maybe it was just thr time of day but a lot of hot items on the line were cold and I imagine it was just because it was slow when we came in. if this happens and you want something fresh you can order it directly. would come again but during a busier time

Best sushi around for the price! Hand down I'm coming back here over a lot of the other sushi options. I'm picky with my sushi I've been eating for almost 30 years. So yes this place is well worth it. I agree with the other reviews the new owner is doing a great job and the employees are well trained. The chicken skewers are delicious, miso soup was generous, simple Cali roll but well done and not too small. The cucumber salad has a good vinegar and I like the seafood on top!

The new owner has made this place x10 better than it used to be. Fresher ingredients, better taste, new items on the menu constantly, and the staff is so fun and friendly! The inside is decorated so well, keeping the original sea-themed mural and adding more decore to liven up the atmosphere. Its extremely clean as well and constantly being cleaned as customers are in and out quickly! The chefs do a fantastic job making each plate look delicious, especially the care and effort making the sashimi platters look beautiful. This has been my go-to sushi spot for the last few years now, and as delicious as the food is, the enthusiastic and kind service from all the staff is why I keep coming back. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and not a single person has been disappointed in the slightest!!

Me and my parents been going there for years and . My parents happened to go and get some take out on friday and barley got any sushi and it ended way over priced!! Like if they were taken advanaged of by who charged them!! Red flag. We will never go back again!!

Over the last 1-2 years ownership changed and that’s when everything else changed too. The portion control is insanely overdone. The pieces of fish are now extremely thin and slender, the calamari plates are half of what they used to be. The rolls are tiny now and watching the owner tell the chefs to cut them smaller is very off putting. I used to love coming here multiple times a week and now I only come 1 every 4-5 months. It’s a bummer the way greed can turn a great restaurant into something that just makes you feel like you’re getting ripped off everytime you go there. The quality is still fairly decent so I miss having a sushi spot close by but at this point I’d rather drive a few extra mins for something I feel I’m getting my moneys worth. Super disappointing overall if you’ve never been. Drive a few extra mins for a different sushi spot.
*In response to your response as the owner- Things have definitely changed with portions that I’ve not only witnessed myself when you were with a chef telling him to cut them smaller but as well as the staff agreeing with me which I can understand may be a little annoying to hear. I’m just simply saying as a local I am not the only one that has noticed. I’m not arguing the size and specifications of the ingredients but rather cutting them slimmer to get and extra piece from each roll. You do that all day long everyday that’s a lot of extra money being made. You’re the owner and can do things however you’d like and as a consumer and long time customer I can have an opinion on that. The fish is decent quality and yes I’m sure you’ve cleaned many areas in the restaurant but that doesn’t change the things I’ve observed stated in my review. I’m sure I’ll drop in occasionally if I have a craving it just isn’t my go-to spot anymore or as enjoyable as before. I love the staff, they’re amazing and always have been so I’m glad they at least haven’t changed.
